The Almost T-14 Club
Anyone else with me? With a 167/3.83, I'm not a GPA splitter, I don't know what I am. I just know I'll be lucky to scrape into the T-14.

You'll probably get into Cornell with those numbers.

Don't give up. My numbers are 165/3.65 and I just got into Cornell and Boalt! I am still waiting to hear from some other schools, but I am very satisfied with my options so far.

Re: The Almost T-14 Club
I definitely qualify for this as well. Dinged at Penn. Deferred by Gtown PT and Cornell. 2 T20s (BU & WUSTL) under my belt already as well as a handful of T30s. But I want the elusive T14 dammit!initech wrote:169/3.5
Dinged at Gtown, Penn, and UVA.
Hoping to "limp in" somewhere.

You have a chance at Cornell, Michigan, and Northwestern (with WE), but that's about it for the T14.

Not Berkeley? I'd say Berkeley is a possibility with strong softs and a good PS.im_blue wrote:You have a chance at Cornell, Michigan, and Northwestern (with WE), but that's about it for the T14.

With impressive WE, you stand a fair shot at NU!roxy8338 wrote:Anyone else with me? With a 167/3.83, I'm not a GPA splitter, I don't know what I am. I just know I'll be lucky to scrape into the T-14.

Re: The Almost T-14 Club
Aside from a little bit higher GPA, I had very similar #'s last year, but didn't apply until 2/1 and 2/15! In the T-14, I was WL from Berkeley on down. Ultimately, I ended up getting into the 2 that I put the most effort into!chadwick218 wrote:With impressive WE, you stand a fair shot at NU!roxy8338 wrote:Anyone else with me? 164/4.0
Not quite as high of an LSAT but hoping that my hard-work at a prestigious (non-IVY) undergrad will help me out!

No real WE, just an internship I'm doing right now...But I figured, there's got to be a lot of us with the numbers that almost make it--might as well see what happens with the borderline candidates!chadwick218 wrote:With impressive WE, you stand a fair shot at NU!roxy8338 wrote:Anyone else with me? My cycle so far--
In: BU, BC, Minn.
Held: Penn, Duke (Priority Track ED/interview e-mail)
Waiting: a whole lotta other T-14s....

Why? With those numbers, I think Duke, Cornell, and Georgetown part time are all decent prospects.statuscheckerssuck wrote:166 3.8 here! I have given up all hope of the t14

I'm in. 167/3.6 - in at some T20's, dinged at Penn, deferred at Cornell, and nothing from the rest. Here's to luck!

After being held at the only two schools I've heard from, I'll have to join this club.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
