Argh, just got an email from GULC Law Waitlist address and my heart nearly stopped.
Open it to find they were just confirming receipt of my LOCI.

Submit my 3rd LOCI today. I really hope this one does the charm, I'm running out of things to say.

When did you send it in? Maybe this means they are starting to look at their WLers again.

Is anyone out there "under review?"
Those of you who were admitted on Friday and today - did you go UR again?

Nope - I wish!
Just seeing if they are still updating statuses to reflect "UR" or if things are moving too quickly for that

I emailed Friday as well. Perhaps they are working through the inbox and responding in order. It was a pretty basic form response: We received it and it's been added to your file. I wouldn't read anything into it.savesthedayajb wrote:Hmm I didnt get one and I emailed it on Wednesday.tommytahoe wrote:Me too! Doesn't look like any action today, which was totally expected. From now on, though... things could get wacky. And I hope they do.

May 3rd really snuck up on me. (Of course nothing yet. Still, that's one key date that just went by - business hours being over, of course.)

Re: GULC 2010 WL'ers
Been reading for a little while, but first-time poster...
Just got in Friday off the not-special preferred waiting list (full-time). I live and work in DC, so I was lucky enough to get a face-to-face with Stephanie in admissions after I called the office with some questions.
The main thing I took away from the meeting is COMMUNICATE! Stephanie, who just left, emphasized establishing a relationship with GULC, not just sending a generic letter every so often. They log every time they hear from you, whether it's by phone, email, or in person, so respond to everything and be proactive. After I heard that, I wrote in about every 10 days or so, even if it was just a very brief email with a question. The more you write, the more interest you show, thus proving when you say in a LOCI that GULC is your #1 you actually mean it. Obtaining additional letters of recommendation (boss, director of my division, a customer) helped me, too, I think.
For the numbers people - 3.11/172, pre-med at a big state school, 2 years work experience.
Good luck to everyone!

Conspicuous, calm-before-the-storm feeling here, folks. Eerie.
I'll break it up with some humor.
So, two eggs sitting in a boiling pot of water.
Egg one says, "Hey, wanna see my crack?"
Egg two says, "Hang on! I'm not even hard yet!"
GL, all.
