Just got a tuition equalization scholarship from Georgia that makes UGA cheaper than Wake.

Anyone else here considering Georgia against Wake because of $$ or just comparing the two in general?

Thoughts?

oh yeah i am. Actually, I haven't heard back from many other higher ranked schools yet. But I have a feeling that for me it is gonna end up being WF (18K/yr) against UGA. It's true what everyone has said, that Athens is a much more lively of a town, and COL if anything is equal to that of WF. For anyone else, this would put UGA on top of WF. But for me, it puts it on equal terms. Because I live in Athens and just finished my ug there in December, and I really would like a change of location. Because, I fear that I would treat law school like I did my ug, meaning downtown every night and thus not paying much attention to studying. Anyhow, if I can hustle WF into giving me 7k/yr more, that would definitely put WF on #1 for me.

Does anyone who went to the Scholar day last week think it is appropriate to bring my mom and boyfriend? I registered for 3 guests, but my mom is cool with just checking out the campus on her own or just participating in the breakfast and intro. What about my boyfriend?

I have been in administrative review hell since 11/17.

edit: this is creepy, right after I posted this my status checker stayed in administrative review but my status date changed to today.

mine did also...i emailed yesterday since i had been in admin review since 11/30 and mrs nutt said i would be hearing very shortly

Mine just changed to administrative review as well. I'm thinking it's a good sign. I mean it could have changed to denied.

Same exact thing happened to me. First it updated the date online...then they waitlisted me. I have a lot of other options, so I think I might just withdraw. (161, 3.08, Half South American)
