My information on the ASD came with my scholarship. You have to notify them at the admissions e-mail address. Then they will send you a parking pass at some point.utcris410 wrote:Me too!

I'll be there, too. It seems a waste not to go, when it's only a 45-minute drive.
You can all marvel at my awesomeness.

SMU, I has a sad because I have not heard from you. This causes me great pain.
3/19 falls during my spring break, too. Austin to Dallas road trip awesomeness could ensue ... but where is the love?

Haha wow I totally forgot about SMU's ASD.. I suppose I'll go since I live so close, although I already visited and took a tour by myself. Do you think ASD will be better?

Does anyone know the best way to look for potential roommates? Some of the complexes in the Villages look amazing, but it would be much more economically feasible if I shared a 2BR. I would prefer another SMU student. Thoughts?

Re: SMU 2010!
Craigslist always has a lot of students posting...you could probably find some subleases too! Did you read the packet on housing? I was looking at signing a lease at Jefferson at the NorthEnd back in the fall. The rent was $699 at the time in the InTown Housing program...there's info in the housing packet SMU sent. I didn't sign a lease because my current complex ended up matching the rate. They are nice for the price!SpencerPratt wrote:Does anyone know the best way to look for potential roommates? I agree with utcris. ASD might also be a good place to feel around for potential roommates.
In other news, sent in my deposit yesterday--pretty stoked.

Has anyone who went complete 2/3 gotten a decision this week?
Also, has anyone who applied for the Hughes Scholarship heard back?

I've emailed them several times for several issues, and I always received a response within a day. Actually, I was surprised with the level of attention I received considering how busy they are around the application deadline.keg411 wrote:I'm not even complete yet. Maybe follow-up with a phone call?
I just noticed our stats are almost identical--good luck!

Re: SMU 2010!
I have too. I got an answer right away about switching from PT only to FT/PT and they switched my status checker on that. It just seems like something is "wrong". Or maybe they haven't received my Feb LSAT yet. Or they are busy making decisions on people who actually hit the deadlines and didn't re-takeDavidB wrote:I've emailed them several times for several issues, and I always received a response within a day. I figure if I don't hear I'll call Monday. I like SMU and don't want to be an annoyance

I am still waiting to hear from SMU (PT Program) I submitted early/mid January. Anyone who submitted around then heard from them yet?

Re: SMU 2010!
Looks like I'm sending my deposit in today!
I talked with a former SMU law student who advised against the Villages due to crime. The testimonials in the packet definitely include some comments about the crime levels in that area. He also said living on campus may be a good idea for someone new to the area (and single). Anyone familiar with the area and school have any thoughts?
