this is wise. if you're not a top candidate, it doesn't make sense for them to accept you this early. way more calls to come out in jan/feb/march.rideagain wrote:You're reading too much into it. There's no evidence of more JS1's, and no evidence their admissions practices have changed a lot. This cycle will probably be roughly on par with 2012-2013, which were great cycles for applicants.38981928 wrote:I don't know if I imagined it or I actually read it here somewhere (can't seem to find again), but is it true that HLS gave/is giving out more JS1s this year than previous years, so the acceptance rate for JS1s is much lower now than before? Also, with the increase in apps, what is the comparable year for LSN? Trying to manage my expectations lololol
I know we're all freaking out (trust me, I was really hoping for a JS2 call) but it's only December. Go take a look at the LSN Jan/Feb acceptances vs. December and you'll calm down.
I believe there have been 6 or 7 JS1 waves so far.zhyunjc wrote:How many JS1 waves have there been so far? Is it being tracked anywhere?FriedChickenHero wrote:Really hoping the JS2 wave for today isn't finishedHad my JS1 in the first wave

Yes!!! There are. I saw one girl last year who didn't get her JS1 until March (even though she applied in September) and she got in.KENYADIGG1T wrote:I haven't even received a JS1!
