Hey guys. Went complete in like October, still radio silence for me.
Were there any dings/waitlists yet? Meaning, have they just decided to ding me but didn't send those decisions out yet?

Still waiting on that status checker since 12/19. I feel like I should send an email.

I don't think there have been any dings or waitlists yet. I'm kind of in the same boat; submitted mid-November and radio silence. I think we have similar stats too if I recall correctlyThelaw23 wrote:Hey guys. Went complete in like October, still radio silence for me.

+1/Complete late September, same LSAT, marginally lower GPA. Only in at UVA in T14. Kind of scary.addie1412 wrote:I don't think there have been any dings or waitlists yet. Re: Michigan c/o 2020 applicants (2016-17)
According to the Admitted Students Stipends thread, Mich has hotel rooms reserved for students coming to the the ASWs that are only like $20/night. You would end up rooming with another person there for the ASW, so you cannot take advantage of the deal if you're bringing a guest (unless you & the guest stayed in different places). They do not specify if they pay for travel costs (plane/bus/train), and I think someone has asked and Mich hasn't decided yet. It's possible that would be a case-by-case basis.brinicolec wrote:Anyone know if they give any travel stipends for ASW? I plan on going to the March one. Really need to check out Ann Arbor. Am worried I might hate the area.

Waitlists happened in bulk last year on February 19th. Not to scare any of you but if you submitted in sep or October and haven't heard anything (like me), it's highly likely you'll end up on the WLsonyco wrote:+1/Complete late September, same LSAT, marginally lower GPA. Yeah, that's what I think too. It's either that or they also want to see December LSAT applicants.notsolawful wrote:Waitlists happened in bulk last year on February 19th. Saw an email from Dean Zearfoss pop up on my phone, thought "This must be my scholarship email!"
...it was email encouraging me to register for one of their preview weekends.

I know it's pretty early, but for anyone already admitted that hasn't realized this yet, you can send in your application for living in the Lawyer's Club as soon as your admitted, even if you end up deciding to go elsewhere for school or arrange different housing in Ann Arbor. It's first come, first serve based on when you send in the application form which takes just a few minutes to fill out and email to them. I did mine and got an email today that said I'll get a room once I submit my deposit and they start sending leases. Just in case anyone is considering living there and wants to lock in a spot!

Re: Michigan c/o 2020 applicants (2016-17)
Hi! Since someone just brought up the Lawyer's Club again...could you speak to how hard it is to find decent, convenient off-campus housing? Obviously it's ridiculously convenient and looks super nice - but the one thing holding me back is that I want to bring my dog (for mental health!). But if (pet friendly) off-campus housing is a really difficult process, then maybe I'll leave my dog with my SO... Thanks for your insight!ChervonaKatya wrote:Hi everyone! Congrats to those admitted already and good luck to those waiting! I'm a current 1L at Michigan -- let me know if you have any questions!
ETA: Got in this week! Non URM, LSAT slightly above 75th, GPA<25th. Submitted first week of December so I'm feeling lucky that my app went through relatively fast it seems...

Finally emailed admissions after not receiving my status checker since submitting on 12/11. They responded super quickly and let me know they sent it out on 12/19. Turns out it was in my trash folder. I wonder if I subconsciously deleted it so I wouldn't be incessantly checking it for a month.

I was just about to email them. I have it all written up and saved as a draft. I got nothing in my spam though or trashsmashbash wrote:Finally emailed admissions after not receiving my status checker since submitting on 12/11.
