I think what you are referring to is a year where storms stopped a lot of people from taking the LSAT, so they accepted later ones that year. Pretty sure the norm is no, they do not.

Did you already submit your app with an LSAT score? If you retake in Feb and get a better score (and are waitlisted/still being considered at that point), there'd be nothing to lose and everything to gain if you sent a polite email saying that Harvard is your top choice and asking them if they'd be willing to consider your February score.
Thanks. I have a score but it's well below their median. And from their website, I read a Feb score will play no affect to application whatsoever. So... Thanks for your encouraging words, but no Harvard for me. What can I say. Only I am to blame.

QC considering your profile I would guess that they're sort of yield protecting you with the assumption that you will probably go to Yale. Hahaha thank you for the kind words, but I doubt it's YP. I was pretty clear in my JS1 that H was my top choice. Also I didn't even apply to Yale, so that would be really awful if what you posited is actually the case.

I have faith that they just stopped for the night at 5 and are ready to give all of us remaining waiters the great news tomorrow

@QC I don't think you have anything to worry about. I can't embed images, but if I could I'd post the Mylsn screenshot showing that 15 out of 15 applicants with your numbers have been admitted in the past three years. Also, a quick scan shows that several of these were not admitted in the first wave.

ETA: Several of those *who applied in Sept/Oct* were not admitted in the first wave.

Trying to gather more information for speculation - does anyone have anything in the requirements section of their status checker? I just noticed mine is empty but not sure if that is new or if I never scrolled down that far before. Sorry if this is annoying and baseless

I had almost given up hope before today too.

I knew I had unique softs but I thought my 3.5 gpa and LSAT at their 25th percentile would have made them auto reject me before reading my package.
