I wouldn't send it now. It's so close to the deadline they've probably read you file by now and made the decision it might just annoy the adcomms. But that's just my opinion.
I agree - it's too late. More downside than upside by sending now.

Thanks for the LOCI advice earlier. I agree and didn't send one in. Hopefully they noticed that I checked the LGBTQ box (if they had one?) and it gives me a bump that's enough to get off FR2.

Dinged via email as well. Disappointed - would have loved to attend, but I think I might've not made that clear/specific enough in my PS. combined with my numbers (which are in the range for berkeley but i'm sure a dime a dozen for them) I can understand.

never went to FR. applied 1/21/2015 and been in review since 1/28/2015.

Seems like it's mostly only the first quartile that gets pulled from for acceptances later, I think
If you look on the thread from last year there are a bunch of people weighing their chances from various positions
