Wow, I have a hard time believing that.

Every cycle there are people who sweep HYS (or at least get in to one or two of HYS) but get waitlisted or rejected at Berkeley. To B's credit, they do appear to have a relatively holistic admissions process (more so than other schools, anyway).

173/3.6, so my hopes are not high. I'm not interested in Berkeley at all (short of $$$), but it would be nice to get my cycle off to a nice start.

Been UR since 11/4, haven't heard anything since. Figured when I didn't get a call I was waiting for the ding... but now people that went UR later than I did are getting dinged?

11/24 here. I think if we were getting dinged it would have happened already. I think it means we're in the other 50% of the FR batch that will get sent for review soon.
