Definitely sending in my LOCI. When are you other waitlisters thinking of sending additional documents in?
ASAP! It's getting close enough to when they'll be evaluating the waitlist--in fact they've already accepted some off the WL, though with stronger numbers. I would send in a LOCI in this week and see if you can get an additional letter of rec that can be sent in the next few weeks. My numbers are similar so I feel ya!

Sorry wannabe. =/

Where does GW compare with WUSTL in your choices?
I dunno, depends on the $$$$$, GW gives need based aid, so thats pretty much just like a scholly. I dunno. I'm gonna send off my LOCI tomorrow, I'm gonna ride out my waitlists just cause there's a chance I get some big money off it because I'm a super splitter.
They do, but it seems to rarely be more than $16-20k, so if you're lucky the financial aid will just offset how freaking expensive GW is.

Since a bunch of waitlists just went out that could be a good thing, right?

Or that they are going to put me in a huge ding pile? :)

On the fence about GW in general and would need a lot of reassurance to attend if admitted or reasons to stay on the WL if they WL me

Suit and tie for the tours, formal wear for the reception afterwards.

Kinda sucks that without money, GW won't be a viable option for me. It would be such an awesome school to attend.

I emailed them about the dress code and they said:

An Evening with GW Law will take place at a law firm and you will have the opportunity to mingle with alums -- so you may wish to wear business casual to that event. As for Preview Day, casual dress is entirely appropriate.

There's no super secret or priority WL madness at GW is there?

No Idea. I was planning to write a letter of continued interest (after researching what that should look like...). I live near DC, so I thought I'd go visit them as well...

Wait-Listed. This was a reach school for me as a super splitter (2.3 / 167), so this was not unexpected.

Not even the school itself, just the cost of living in DC. The same thing happens with me right now, everyone says that the school is super expensive (on par with other private schools), it just costs more because you have to pay the downtown big city price for everything.

Interesting, especially with this 'reception' they have planned for after the preview day. I've never been to a reception in casual dress before...

Unfortunately, what with just being accepted last Friday, I don't think I'll be making it to the preview day this week. I expect you to represent the rest of us forum folks Barlow and say good things about us.

Me especially 'cause I'm pretty awesome.

Does anyone know if they are still giving scholarships? And if so how long after you find out you're admitted will you know if you received one or not?
