Congrats new admits!

No DLS for me. Sent early November and complete 11/5, status date updated 12/3. Too bad, I really like NYU a lot. But to be expected with my low numbers. Although that Google doc is giving me some (probably false) hope. Good luck Slack and everyone else still waiting, keep the faith!

WHAT? I thought DLS means I could be admitted/waitlisted/rejected. As an RD applicant, does this mean I'm in??

The tls consensus is that a dls in early December for rd means acceptance

Complete 11/5 and UR 12/3. No DLS. This a bad sign? According to last years cycle, admits seemed to span two days.

I went complete mid October and heard nothing today. Assuming I should be expecting a long wait and at best hope for the waitlist at this point?

Last year it looks like after the first day of RD admits they kept going for a few days... so hopefully more will hear back tomorrow (did not hear back today and NYU is definitely one of my top choices - went complete on 11/6, so I'm a bit worried.)

One strange thing is that last year no one who submitted in November seemed to get a decision (except for EDers) on the first day, but this year it seemed to be a big jumble.

Good find! Very interesting, but it shows a good reason not to lose confidence if you haven't heard back yet. It really seems to be a big jumble over the first few days of acceptances.

Nope, according to last year's in thread, scholarship info won't come until much later--after you fill out the forms they'll provide after the new year.

I'm in the same boat. I don't think anyone with a Nov complete and 12/3 update has had a DLS, have they? Be patient, we're still in this...

I'm a 175/3.55 and went complete on 11/5, UR 11/12. No updates since then. Does a less recent UR date with no updates suggest that they're holding off?

Definitely not. A lot of us were UR 10/16 and heard nothing until yesterday.
