Finally received Agora info! Still nothing showing there for merit or need aid though...*sigh*

Yeah, it says "no award letter available." Last year it took a few days so hopefully by the end of the week we'll have some info.

Has anyone who applied for the PI scholarship been notified of their ding? I know I didn't get it because I wasn't interviewed, but I haven't actually been formally rejected for it. That said, I just got my packet--postmarked 2/28--yesterday, so something screwy is going on with my local post office and maybe I'm just not getting my mail?

Interested in knowing this too...did everyone who has received the info fill out the need-based forms? I was accepted beginning of December and haven't gotten anything yet!!

Edit: Also...I will be heading to Boston today to see BC tomorrow and BU on Friday. Advice about meeting with BC's financial office? Should I stop in?

I wasn't accepted until March, but I received my Agora info yesterday. I did NOT fill out the need-based stuff, so it seems like they're just really slow with rolling it out to everyone (like they've been slow with decisions and scholarships). I wouldn't worry yet.

I don't see why you couldn't meet with someone--financial aid officers meet with prospective undergrads all the time, and law students have to deal with the same office I believe. But keep in mind the office is on the main campus (Lyons Hall, Office of Student Services), not on Newton. So if you're planning on seeing someone, do it in the morning before the Open House starts.

Sadly, half of my trackers stopped working today, too, so it's most likely the former.

Just updated to decision rendered - status says "Decision Letter Mailed." Guessing that's a ding, but I'm probably bowing out of this cycle anyway.

Edit: Guess I should search the thread before going into alarmist mode, seems this language is standard for all. Guess I'll keep twiddling my thumbs for now.

"A decision has been made on your application to Boston College Law School by the Admissions Committee. A decision letter will be mailed via U.S. Postal Service within 3-5 days from the Decision Status Date and will be sent to your CURRENT address. If a decision was made on or after December 14, 2011 or before January 16, 2012, the Decision letter was mailed to your permanent address."

...so all decision letters will be mailed to permanent addresses?

Also, sorry if this has been answered earlier, but does this mean that it is a ding? It seems pretty ridiculous for them to go to the trouble of mailing something when they could just send an email. And I read earlier in this thread that someone was dinged by email, but they would probably want to tell you asap if you were accepted, so... mixed signals?
