I'm seriously considering this too... even though I've heard it's a bad idea. I'm also thinking about chaining myself to that statue in front of the law school and wearing a sign that just says "Pretty Please."

It's things like this that will make schools add questions to CF like "At any time have you been considered mentally unstable?" or "Would you sign away your first born child to attend our school?" AUTODING

For what its worth I went down there to visit and meet with the assistant dean, something they offer all applicants. I made it pretty clear W&M was my first choice and I was admitted the next day. Impossible to know, but considering I'm pretty borderline numberswise I think it helped. Of course I live fairly close so it may not be an option for you guys.

Just got my decision a few days ago (167/3.52) and opened my scholarship offer last night when I got home from out of town. Woohoo! Are you guys planning on going to preview day?

What's the protocol for handling the April 1 decision deadline? Some of my other schools don't even promise to make admissions decisions by now, not sure I can commit to W & M, although it's my favorite so far.

I'll be at the ASW. As for the April 1st deadline pretty sure that's for you're statement of intent or whatever. You can just put down that you're considering but not sure. I don't think there is a deposit deadline till May.
