So I am new to this site but have been following the Michigan thread since it's my top choice. I checked the ASW a few times this week and was able to log in and see the beautiful blue page this morning! The only thing is I cannot find anywhere that says Mailings and Money or Communication - anyone who's been able to log in willing to tell me where exactly it is or PM me a screenshot of where it is? It's not in the bottom left of the webpage for me... I have no clue what's wrong with it! I tried in Firefox and Safari too but nothing. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Edit, for reference, around both of Michigan's 75ths and submitted late September. RD. Can't figure out if I'm summer start or fall start since ASW is confusing me, but I checked both on the app.

I sent it in october 3rd, not sure when it was completed. Additionally my status checker didn't change until a day before I received the snail-mail package. also i applied rd

You see what happens when you guys complain the dates aren't accurate?

(Just kidding...but maybe...who knows why they'd get rid of it.) it's not available under a different link somewhere else?

Congrats everyone who has admits. I'm just hoping for a status checker that says "complete" before the Nov. 15 deadline. I had everything in on 10/31 Mich! Don't bone me out of an ED opportunity! I want to go to your school.

Yikes! Have you emailed them to find out what would happen in the event your file isn't complete by the deadline? Will they still consider you for ED or are they going to roll you to RD? I really hope they are able to complete your file by the deadline so it becomes a moot point. A good friend of mine is in the same boat as you. He's borderline, so ED means everything to him.

If you don't mind, please post any reply you get. I'm sure there are others in your position and I know my friend is interested. And, out of sheer curiosity, I'd like to know what they do in situations like this. I think, based on what I've read about the admissions office being very friendly, if you submitted prior to 11/1 (the recommended date on their website), they'll probably keep you ED regardless of when your file goes complete, as you'll have complied with the requirements they've posted.

I really wish they had a hard "submit by" rather than a "complete by" date. In my mind, before I realized that complete meant complete in the status checker, I assumed that what they meant was to have my app in by Nov. 15.

Oh well, there's not much I can do other than ask them about their policy and cross my fingers.

It would really leave October LSAT takers (like myself) in a crunch if they absolutely had to have apps in by Nov. 1.

Also, I would have had my app in as well if it weren't for the rigamarole I had to go through with LSAC. My proctors called time five minutes early, there were regular disturbances, they were chatting back and forth and it was a general mess so I informed LSAC via e-mail afterwards and my account was subsequently put on hold until days before the LSAT score release and wasn't taken off hold until several days after. My app was completed well before score release so the only reason I wasn't able to send in my app before 10/31 was due to LSAC.

Hahaha- well you didn't hear any complaints from me!

But I actually do think these things tend to get shut down. UVA this cycle had an error in their status checker that allowed u to see you'd been admitted immediately. I think that's why I got in 24 hrs after submitting. It only lasted 24 hrs. They quickly fixed it and it took another month before calls went out to other RDers all on the same day.

Interesting... I wonder what their auto-admit #'s cut off is, as it would seem the only way you'd be admitted 24 hours after submitting would be a quick numbers check. Obviously, 4.0/174 made the cut.

IN! Via an admissions packet in my mailbox! Weird, my status check hadn't updated until today, even though the letter was mailed Wednesday.

WHO CARES? We have a new leader in the clubhouse.

edit: Watching this Michigan acceptance video is giving me serious chills. Almost making me regret ED'ing NYU.
