Sorry, that sucks! I actually really recommend looking on craigslist. I have two friends that found great roommates there and usually pretty reasonable prices.

It will take some searching but I found an awesome place on Craigslist. I probably looked at every single ad posted over the last few weeks in the neighborhoods I wanted. Moving up June 1st!!

I went with the Tower as well, mostly because it was the easiest option.

Good luck to everyone still waiting. We have made it to the deadline, well, close enough. Now, let more waiting commence.

So I guess us lucky kids on the waitlist can start obsessively checking our emails again? I think they started at the very beginning of May to sort through the WL last year so fingers crossed for everyone!

Paraphrasing another poster, demographics play a huge role this late in the cycle. Plus, I'm sure not every student who has no intention of attending Hastings has withdrawn their offer, which slows down the process. I think it's a good thing to still have the school holding onto our apps, regardless of any official WL notice. LSN is reporting a lot of activity, so Hastings is not standing pat.

My sister is moving out. Therefore, I need to find a new roomate. My apt is in the Richmond dist ( 20 min bus ride to Hastings no transfer). It's a HUGE apt for SF (850-900sq ft) 2bed 1 bath, hardwood floors, crown molding updated kitchen with granite counter tops. My apt is beautifully furnished including a 42inch flat screen.

I am 2 short blocks to golden gate park.

I am in no rush to find a roommate. Move in any time between middle of June to beg of August.
Rent will be 875 including utilities. I currently have comcast but if we want to keep it we would have to split cost. I am totally fine watching netflix and hul(when time permits) :)

i will prob spend 2 to 3 nts a week at my boyfriends house and the apt will be all yours!

In box me for questions :)

if anyone needs a roomie for the tower, let me know. i'd like to live there, but i think swinging $905 is a bit too high for me for a room by myself.

i'd post some vitals, but i'm not sure if it's appropriate on this particular thread. inbox if interested.

did anyone get the Waitlist Enquiry email, asking if we still want to be considered for a spot ? I'm wondering if this is the time i should email my full LOCI, or if i should just reply with the answer and information they requested (name, lsac number, address, phone, etc). Advice anyone???

When did that email go out? I didn't get it...

I would send the full loci with the response.

Hastings' policy of not accepting any additional information to be added to applicant files is complete bullshit and lazy as hell. They are the ONLY school I applied to that is this way. Other schools seem to accept additional information gladly and even send personalized emails in response.

Shit. Now I'm freaking out that I didn't get that email. I don't know if it's different because they contacted you but when I tried to send a LOCI a few weeks ago I got an email saying they don't accept anything after your application goes complete. Worth a shot I guess.

Agreed. UCLA seemed very willing to receive additional information and I'm pretty sure they get more apps than Hastings.

If the letter has additional info than what you submitted in your original app, I'd send it along. Below all the stuff they asked for, just briefly mention that you're including a short letter with further info that might help their decision. You could attach this to your reply, or include it in the text below. Just make sure to clearly provide the info they request up front and give them the opportunity to ignore the rest if they want.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
