Ugh, sorry to hear that.
If I were you, I wouldn't be upfront about going to law school with any potential employers unless it's an explicitly temporary gig.
I know that's not the best approach from a moral standpoint, but sometimes you have to look out for yourself.
This is one of those times.
I had to do this recently with getting my second job. Feels shitty to do, but I have to do what's best for my family.
