I don't know, EB. I mean, the fact that May 10 was offered as a possible end date, there must be something inherent to the process that makes it drag on. Still, my guess is that most who hear anything this week will hear on like Tues-Wed-Thurs. Just a hunch, I have no idea.

If they are paid online, I sure missed it. I had to mail mine in priority after not seeing an online deposit form on the ASW.

Oh yeah, and I just remembered: they commonly give one-week extensions, hence not knowing the complete story until May 10th.

I got in off the SPWL on Friday too. A week earlier it was my first choice and I was desperate to get in, but now I'm conflicted. I'd resigned myself to a rejection after I was passed over during the first SPWL review. I convinced myself that Duke was a great option and sent in my deposit. Now I'm having a hard time unconvincing myself. Especially because I have $20k/yr at Duke, but DC>NC. How do I decide?

60k at Duke vs. GULC at sticker? I think Duke is clearly the right choice. You can always move to dc after law school if you want.

Yeah Duke seems like the responsible choice, but part of my heart really wants Georgetown. I'm going to spend my day off tomorrow with a spreadsheet and hope that leads to me a decision.

Yeah, maybe $20,000 leaves room to negotiate. $60,000, not so much. $60,000 makes the reality of crushing debt a manageable proposition, and a T14 school's JD you can bring back to DC with ease.

Duke is the proper choice by many means! You do have Georgetown, they admitted you. So now go to Duke and get that the education that will benefit you more.

Thanks everyone. I hate to miss out on GULC, but I know you're right, even if you have your own motives.

+1. But I think we can relax today. It seems really unlikely they could process the deposits and make decisions inside a day. Wednesday-Monday I'll be on high alert.

Regardless of when it happens, I wont be able to relax until I hear a decision. It's all so exciting lol.

Ahhh I missed all this admittance activity and am just catching up now. It sounds like it has all been for FT, correct? What kinds of numbers are they pulling in? High LSATs?

If I get admitted from the regular waitlist, I'll be tempted to dance on the rooftop and sing the happy happy joy joy song from Ren and Stimpy.
