Dear Michigan,

Hey. Whats up. Just writing since it's been a while since I heard from you. Some of my friends said you've been going out, seeing some people. That's cool. I mean you can do whatever, we're not together or anything. That's great for you. I hope you're really meeting a bunch of great people.

Anyway, I just wanted to apologize for not giving you the attention you deserved when we were applying. You're a really great school and, well, now that I'm faced with the hard facts that I might lose you I really appreciate how little I cared about you before. I'm ready to make amends. I promise I'll give you a LOCI that will blow your mind. I'll do things you never imagined an applicant could do.

If I could go back in time I'd give you the Why Michigan you deserve. I'd pay more attention than you. Maybe you've heard I only applied because of the fee waiver. Maybe somebody told you I thought you were easy and I figured "F it, why not give it a shot." That may or may not be true. But what matters now is that I want you. Give me a chance. I'll be waiting.

yeah i feel ya.. the wait just makes the whole process seem that much more exhausting. I do have a friend that got admitted to Mich after a looooong review period, and she's loving it!! So I guess long UR doesn't necessarily mean anything, some schools just take longer. I just wish I had some correspondence so I could stop worrying about whether my app is complete

This is common. With a good probability, you are in (from my understanding).

I'd say 99% chance you were admitted.
