Re: USC 2010!
Got the email this morning to fill out a form that makes you eligible to receive scholarships!!! They said to fill it out within two weeks of receiving it. Hopefully this means since I filled it out same day they will begin handing out $$ soon. I need to know what they are going to offer me before I make my decision!!!
Fun fact I learned on my tour is that the scholarships are not contingent upon how you rank. Once you've got it, it is yours for 3 years. Though it's not based upon tuition amounts and if tuition goes up, I'm pretty sure scholly does not.

Re: USC 2010!
How long after you got in did they send the scholly email? I just got in a few days ago and got my letter plus a USC ID email, but nothing on $$ yet. If I recall correctly, you got in some time ago, right? (I've been stalking you b/c of our similar numbers and schools.) Also, screw UCLA for dinging me but I hope you get off the waitlist at some pointjgulia45 wrote:Got the email this morning to fill out a form that makes you eligible to receive scholarships!!! Re: USC 2010!
it seems strange that no decisions have been made about splitters. they made decisions on auto-accepts, and quite a few reverse splitters but no splitters.... argggg

Re: USC 2010!
I got in the day after x-mas so it's been a little over a month. Hah, I've given up on UCLA because a full ride to Pepperdine or potential scholarship at USC is better than paying for the mistakes of the California government inflicted on the school system.Mroberts3 wrote:How long after you got in did they send the scholly email? Another IR 01/08 here. It seems like we are all splitters or reverse splitters, I'm hoping that means that we are all going to be admitted so they can use our "good" number to boost their mediansandiecohen47 wrote:+3. sigh.floppymex wrote:+2Neelio wrote:Anybody IR 01/08???

What is the difference between a regular and reverse splitter?

Re: USC 2010!
lol-I'm game. Although if we're both splitters, we'd be at the 75th's at the vast majority of schools. Then we can split up the workload through law school, and after we can pound away those 80 hour work weeks like they're cupcakes.Veritas wrote:I guess I'm like a reverse splitter for USC. Re: USC 2010!
Veritas- I think you are too critical of yourself. If i remember right, your GPA is above the 75th% and LSAT at the 25th%. Have faith! You (statistically speaking) are an ideal fit for USC... as i'm hoping the same for me.Veritas wrote:I guess I'm like a reverse splitter for USC. Who wants to pair up with me to meet median?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
