Not really what I was hoping to get famous for, but I'll take it. I'm in LA by the way, so presumably more people will be receiving them over the next few days. And I've got to say, the sting of disappointment is vastly preferable to the long agonizing death march of anticipation.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO im in LA too.

not looking forward to my mail...

Minus a thousand. I can definitely take a rejection from HLS or YLS. But a SLS rejection will make me sob manly tears.

Sorry to hear it. I'm shocked they are such GPA whores.

I can't decide how I feel about getting rejected outright v. waiting forever. Stanford is absolutely, without a doubt, beyond any question, my dream school. If they accept me, I go. Period, end of discussion, withdraw all other apps and go. Thus, a rejection would be crushing. However, I don't really want to keep hanging on to a dream that is never going to happen. GAH!

Haha this is how I feel about Berkeley. Harvard and Stanford dings aren't going to hurt (Stanford maybe a bit cause I like it a lot), but the Berkeley ding is going to kill.

Trying to raise school spirit after that embarrassing loss to ASU this afternoon? Stanford was down by 30 points after about 10 minutes of play.

Why Berkeley over Stanford? Just curious!

If it's any consolation, Landry Fields is one of the best CBB players I have ever seen live.

If last year's cycle is any indication, rejections are handled like acceptances: they slowly trickle out over a period of several weeks. It's going to be a long wait for many of us, I'm afraid.

If you don't get in, who's going to co-host big gay parties with me in Munger? That would sadden me...

it would give me great delight to host big gay parties with you. how 'bout you give dean deal a little nudge nudge wink wink for me and let her know that she should accept me straightaway?

Wow... what kind of Cal student are you? You should change your pic to something that better represents who you are; no self-respecting Cal student would cry over a Stanfurd rejection letter.
That said, getting in does feel pretty good =p
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
