EDII waiters/survivors - mind PM'ing me with stats and interview info? Just curious to get a feel for who's left with me while we kill time waiting for the next wave. Hopefully we're all studying together in the fall!

Is January too late to apply? I applied this month with 175/3.8, also have strong ties to Penn. Worried I'll get yield protected.

Ok so I’m a little confused about the whole URC 1 and 2 thing.. when you look at your status checker, should it specify if it’s URC 1 vs 2 or is it just that the date changes? I applied ED2 on 12/21 and my status has just been chillin on “Under Committee Review” since 1/9. It’s possible that I just missed the date change but I could have sworn that it just went straight from application complete to that and hasn’t changed since and I’m just wildly confused because they’re supposed to let us ED ppl know in the next few days... any clarification would be great appreciated!

Did you write a strong "Why Penn"? That could mitigate the lateness of the application.

They’ve only let a select few ED II applicants know. There hasn’t been a big wave or tweet about it yetmishpt1 wrote:They're not done with ED II yet?processing76 wrote:When does everyone think the ED II wave will be this week?

just got a deferral email. So I guess I just gotta wait and see how the rest of the cycle goes.
ED2, went complete on 12/22, 168/3.33
Good luck to everyone else!

What's the difference between being held for further review and waitlisted?

for those that were held for further review, did they ask for anything in specific? I.e. updated resume, supplemental essays etc. or did they just say that a decision has not yet been rendered ?

Re: Penn Law c/o 2021 Applicants (2017-2018)
Hey yeah guys i was held for further review. It says in the email "Please feel free to submit additional supporting documents, such as one additional letter of recommendation, an updated resume, or an additional two-page essay on the topic of your choice." - I'm planning on sending in another letter of recommendation. But I was curious, are there any specific topics their looking for in the 2-page essay? should it be law school/penn related? or should it really be on anything in the world?
Also how does this whole thing work in terms of sending in LOCI - when would i do that?
