Have any JS1s received a "HLS Follow-up" email asking to talk about "your plans for this upcoming fall"? Does anyone know what this signifies, if anything?

Correct, I didn't either.

Though I did send in a LOCI detailing my plans,etc so I'm not sure that email would make sense to send me.

I didn't get an email either and I'm a prewaitlist JS1. I did send in a LOCI so not sure if that had any bearing on who is getting the emails.

That would be sweet if true. However, I assumed that they would do the js2s for both the pre and post js1s at the same time and your applications still need to go through facility review... Gonna guess that nothing happpens until the 17th but hope I'm wrong.

I think a post-WL JS1 includes questions about whether you'd be prepared to accept the spot, functionally the equivalent of a JS1b for a pre-WL JS1. My understanding is that there is no additional steps in between for a post-WL JS1er before JS2 unless there's a substantial gap between Js1 and JS2 (i.e. Interviewed this week but potentially on the JS2 list in August for something)

I sent in an LOCI and did not receive the email.

I sent in a LOCI and didn't receive the email either. Now I'm depressed and neurotic about it. Congrats to the ones who did receive the email though!
