I'm not on the Stanford FB page, but it's conceivable that it contains administrators and current students. So the number probably isn't exactly representative of the number of offers made, which means there might be a few less spots taken than it currently appears. Thus, we can be a tiny wee bit more optimistic!

From looking at last year's thread, it seems that DLS came as a giant wave moving chronologically based on complete dates.

Practically twitching at work trying to fight off the false hope, given that we've already passed my DLS date. Pretty sure it must go round in loops thoughpterodactyls wrote:From looking at last year's thread, it seems that DLS came as a giant wave moving chronologically based on complete dates.

Yeah there is some sort of looping back, but it appears they go through applications chronologically at least some of the time.Topszn wrote:Practically twitching at work trying to fight off the false hope, given that we've already passed my DLS date. But who knows what it means, we're all just speculating. Stanford's gonna Stanford. We just gotta hold on to our buttz.

Complete in early October over here and no DLS yet... Hovering around both medians... I think I'm destined to be one of those people who gets dinged on April 30 but I check the status checker every day anyway...

UR since September and so far still going strong. Not sure why SLS is still holding onto me but I'll take it.

Re: Stanford C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016 cycle)
So for those of us who have been complete for a few months, haven't been dinged, and above median GPA/LSAT, are they just holding onto us in case they need our high LSATs and/or GPAs?
This is frustrating.

I admire your fortitude. I gave in and wrote the letter. Though I now wonder what will happen if I end up on the waitlist. Will I need to write a second LOCI?slippin_jimmy wrote:

My application not being withdrawn is continued interest. IDK. If I'm WLed, maybe I'll write one. But at this point...WinterComing wrote:I admire your fortitude. I gave in and wrote the letter.slippin_jimmy wrote:
