Now that everything is pretty much over, what are your thoughts on Stanford Law?

Umm, it's the best fucking school in the entire goddamned world. I will be there this fall and am personally just grateful that I get to post in the C/O 2019 thread, where we actually have a real OP in fliptrip. Eat caca and die, Dcc617. Your parents hate you.

It's chill bro, but I was already set on Harvard or Yale anyway. I got my shades on to block out all that shade from CA. Enjoy the earthquakes, hippies.

I personally can't stand Stanford, its administration, and especially its admissions office. I waited patiently for 4-7 months only to get waitlisted or rejected less than a week before May. Seriously, go home Stanford, you're drunk (unless you accept me off the waitlist, then I will love you)

Meh, I mean, this was a total long shot for me. I just wanted to see what would happen. This is what I thought would happen.

I'm totally indifferent to Stanford, because I am super happy with the option I am going with. Grow up, Dcc617. You're embarrassing yourself with this poll.

I will be Seymour Asses from Futurama, and Stanford is my Fry. DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS? I WILL FUCKING DIE ON THE WAITLIST!

I am a lurker. I may not have even applied anywhere this cycle. My motives for lurking this thread are entirely inscrutable and apparently I have nothing better to do with my life.

Dcc617, stop making every other poll option about yourself. While you are very handsome, your constant narcissism and self-indulgence has become off-putting.

My hero, any idea how many pending? That always deflates my optimism immediately
There are 83 invited members.
shit, so about 120-130 left... i'm dead
not sure where you read that but the ABA report says 433 offers

I'm not on the Stanford FB page, but it's conceivable that it contains administrators and current students. So the number probably isn't exactly representative of the number of offers made, which means there might be a few less spots taken than it currently appears. Thus, we can be a tiny wee bit more optimistic!

Congrats! Don't forget to come to the SLS c/o 2019 thread. We are getting our asses kicked by these other schools.

From looking at last year's thread, it seems that DLS came as a giant wave moving chronologically based on complete dates.

Practically twitching at work trying to fight off the false hope, given that we've already passed my DLS date. Pretty sure it must go round in loops though

Yeah there is some sort of looping back, but it appears they go through applications chronologically at least some of the time.

But who knows what it means, we're all just speculating. Stanford's gonna Stanford. We just gotta hold on to our buttz.

Preach, we've got this far at least

Complete in early October over here and no DLS yet... Hovering around both medians... I think I'm destined to be one of those people who gets dinged on April 30 but I check the status checker every day anyway... :(

UR since September and so far still going strong. Not sure why SLS is still holding onto me but I'll take it.

So for those of us who have been complete for a few months, haven't been dinged, and above median GPA/LSAT, are they just holding onto us in case they need our high LSATs and/or GPAs?

This is frustrating. :(

I admire your fortitude. I gave in and wrote the letter. Though I now wonder what will happen if I end up on the waitlist. Will I need to write a second LOCI?

My application not being withdrawn is continued interest. IDK. If I'm WLed, maybe I'll write one. But at this point...
