Admits, can you let us know if/when your status checker changes?

Check the spreadsheet. The range of data there will be more helpful than me just telling you that the answer is yes.minionsunite wrote:Congrats to all the Admits today!
Anyone who submitted near the end of October/beginning of November get JS1 yet?

Just wondering if anyone not received the call yet, but got the status check changed to admit?

Thanks all! Was curious if that trend would continue from last year so as to determine if it would reliably calm my fears about a phone call screw up.Phyr wrote:+1WinterComing wrote:tflan19 wrote:Admits, can you let us know if/when your status checker changes?

JS2 at around 4 pm EST today!
Fingers crossed for everyone else who is waiting.
Does anyone know when we will have access (or how to access) the admitted students portal? Also, what is this "HLS email account" that we are supposed to check regularly per the status tracker - does that mean we get a .edu email now :O
Edit: Woops just got the email. Mid-January apparently!

Yeah, more just that my phone keeps saying that my sim card is missing, deleting my settings and files, and randomly deciding that it doesn't have service while outdoors in a large city... its just adding to my paranoiacantorb wrote:If by phone call screw up you mean that they call the wrong number on the list, there's no chance of that. Re: Harvard C/O 2019 Applicants
Three things:
First congrats to all the JS2s!!!
Second, when y'all are saying your JS1 dates is that the date you got the JS1 invite or the day of the actual interview? I'm assuming the former, but please correct me if I'm wrong.
Lastly, does the status checker change before or after the call?

Ok so based on a highly scientific analysis of the spreadsheet (read: scrolling through while hyperventilating and drinking what is already my 4th cup of coffee today), it doesn't seem like anyone who had their JS1 later than the week that ended Friday November 20 has heard back yet. And at this point when you submitted/went complete/got the JS1 request is pretty much irrelevant I'd guess. It's only the date of the actual interview that matters.

Glancing at mylsn, looks like we'll likely have to wait until next week at the earliest. They haven't released in consecutive days in the past few years.
I'm hoping this looks like 2013-2014 when they had three releases in 2013, the first being for the over 75s and then the second two including slightly meidanish stats. In that year, the two December releases were a week apart.

In 2013-14 there was a wave on 11/25 and another wave on 11/26 before the lull until December.mdnyc wrote:They haven't released in consecutive days in the past few years.

Re: Harvard C/O 2019 Applicants
Oops, yes. The Nov. 26, 2013 wave happened in the morning. And glancing more closely, the Dec 23 wave in 2013 was followed by at least one on Dec. 24, although I don't see evidence in the C/O 2017 thread. If we don't hear today though, I'd imagine we have at least a week's wait.oliverotis wrote:In 2013-14 there was a wave on 11/25 and another wave on 11/26 before the lull until December.mdnyc wrote:They haven't released in consecutive days in the past few years.
I would happily eat my words if I were wrong, of course.
