interesting situation here!

I was accepted to NYU ED, submitted my deposit, and began to pull my applications (the day after I submitted the deposit)

as i went to send my email to mich..... my application was already withdrawn! cool, one less email i have to send, and one less guy in the running for a spot. good luck to all you guys!

btw, anyone ever hear of anything like this happening? I've done no research on the topic, just curious.

My application went complete mid-November and, I believe, it has had the same "last updated" date since. Today, however, I noticed it changed to current date, but my status checker still just says complete. Does anyone know if this usually happens or means anything? Above both 75ths and wrote Why Mich, FWIW.

Thanks!

Status checker changes date daily. Mine still does even after admission.

The date at the very bottom of mine changes every day, but the date in blue at the top changes daily too? I didn't think mind has been but might have just missed it!

From what to expect when you're expecting:
The Magical Michigan Status Checker
Incomplete
Complete (about a week)
It will take several weeks to receive Michigan’s status checker. Once you do, it will be updated every day because Michigan is awesome.

Acceptances: Status checker, mail
Scholarships: Admitted Students' Website
Mine's been updating daily too, at both ends of the page.

Any chance of getting a Darrow invite at this point? Above both 75's, submitted mid-Nov, but haven't been admitted yet... Getting nervous! :(

I don't think there have been any financial aid decisions. It says on the Mich website that they do that in Jan- late Jan.

Very likely. Most people offered probably aren't going to take them

I'm above both 75ths, submitted in October, and just found out this past Monday. I wouldn't worry too much.

I believe that they will do more Darrow waves. If you get accepted after the first wave and have the characteristics they're looking for, Mich is not going to just say "oh well it's too late." It seems like more invites have gone out in Jan in the past. So don't worry too much! :D

It's never too early to panic. You've likely invested a great deal of time and effort into these applications, so now's the time to.stress over whether all of that effort will be enough to go be stressed out some more at.the school of your dreams.
