I creeped on your lsn because we're in the same boat and noticed they told you they would give you a decision by 1/30. They told me 2/27.
Weird.

I've been debating between sending in the otherwise ready application ASAP or waiting for that rush of inspired writing for this frustrating 250 essay.
I did not and my stats are not great. LSAT at median and GPA bellow median.

Excellent news.
FYI: I was able to get a username and password for the Admitted Students website today by using the "No Password?" link on their login page (a symptom of me being overexcited for this thing). Upon trying to login, it says "The Georgetown Law Admitted Students website is currently closed." Later this week is looking like a good bet!

Got a season's greetings card from GULC today -- nice little touch.

I also had a letter from Yale -- I was like "whaaaaat???" -- they thanked me for notifying them so promptly that I would be attending another law school and wished me luck. Very cool they took the time to do that.

About 2 weeks + mail time.
wait, does this prediction involve an interview at any point? i went complete on 12/2 but haven't been offered an interview so wasn't expecting anything too soon.

these types of questions are why the lawschool22 spreadsheets are so helpful. so far for this cycle:

Average days between complete and initial decision (all): 23.2
Avg. days between complete and decision (if interviewed): 31.4

Went complete on 11/13 and received an alum interview request 11/26 but since then silence from my interviewer. When would you suggest reaching out to admissions? I know its still only been a couple weeks, and the email was phrased that I will hear from the alum in "coming weeks," but it seems like the average wait time is much quicker than what I've been experiencing.

I had a good two and half week/three week wait before anyone contacted me. Sit tight for now I would say.

Note: Not to make you crazy haha but I did have my app held so my timeline may not be representative.

It appears that the admitted student website is working. Hit the no password button and put in my info, and I finally got the message "Your Username and Password were successfully sent to your email address."

Edit: however, when I get the username and password, I get "The Georgetown Law Admitted Students website is currently closed." :(

Congrats to everyone who has received their acceptances and good luck to everyone else applying!

Just curious, I have an on-campus box address listed as my mailing address...but it's not a PO Box...I feel like the LSAC website said that it would send mail to my permanent address in lieu of my mailing address, but I'm not sure. Otherwise, I probably should be asking my parents to check the mail frequently (for some reason, they check maybe once a week). Is anyone who has received mail from Georgetown receiving mail through a box address? Thanks to anyone who can provide some insight.

Received my letter today! I was too excited to check when it was mailed, but the mail on campus is slow. The handwritten note at the bottom was a really nice touch.

167/4.0
Complete: 11/14
Letter received: 12/9

No interview request. Georgetown is my top choice and Ive been really worried so I'm nothing short of ecstatic.
