Went complete yesterday, according to the status checker.
With numbers hugging the medians (very slightly below GPA, slightly above LSAT), how long will it take to get a JS1, if that happens, at this stage? Anywhere from a week to a month it seems?

No one can really answer that. I got mine 2 weeks after going complete, if that tells you anything lolwtrc wrote:Went complete yesterday, according to the status checker.

Same, but I don't expect them to roll in until after Thanksgiving and even when they do, I don't expect one this year. If I expect one ever.djfududeman wrote:I'm at the point where I'm checking this thread about 5 times a day, just to see if anyone has reported a JS2 yet... yet another reason I can't wait for the Turkey break!
Took me about 3 to get mine after submitting them.wtrc wrote:Went complete yesterday, according to the status checker.

Why would you think after Thanksgiving? They've historically come the Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday before...CyanIdes Of March wrote:Same, but I don't expect them to roll in until after Thanksgiving and even when they do, I don't expect one this year. I've apparently done less research than you lol. I just know from others that it's "around" Thanksgiving. I'm sure your analysis is more accurate than mine.lastsamurai wrote:Why would you think after Thanksgiving? LastSamurai does nothing but research. I'm pretty sure he sleeps under a Harvard bedspread.

FTFY ohpo, and thanks Lavitz! I don't think I'll get to your level, so please stick around. I have done some research on the schools I applied to though.ohpobrecito wrote:I wholeheartedly disagree with this.Lavitz wrote:lastsamurai is my successor. For whoever is interested, of the 21 people to report JS1s up until Thanksgiving last year, 6 TLSers reported JS2s on Tuesday the 20th and 5 on Wednesday the 21st. (another 4 heard back 12/3).
As a point of reference, this year we have 42 TLSers reporting interviews so far, but JS1s also started two weeks earlier than last year.
Edit for clarification.

You're slipping. I count 15 TLSers on that Wednesday. It was a big day for JS2s.

So there were 21 pre-Thanksigiving JS1s reported, and all 21 got JS2s by Thanksgiving?Lavitz wrote:lastsamurai wrote:For whoever is interested, last year 6 TLSers reported JS2s on Tuesday the 20th and 5 on Wednesday the 21st. I didn't verify the number of JS1s. I only went back to count the JS2s because I knew that number had to be off. But even if it's right, it's possible people reported JS2s never previously reported their JS1s. I didn't really check that. What I do remember is that 5 TLSers who got JS1s did not get JS2s. Two of those eventually got in after being held in January.

Plz let me get one next week. My birthday is next week and it would be awesome to get a JS2 on that day, if I don't die of alcohol poisoning that is. Cheers brutherswtrc wrote:Prediction that JS2's start Tuesday of next week. They are in a rush this year.

Makes more sense.lastsamurai wrote:Sorry for not clarifying - I tracked people who reported JS1s and then later reported a JS2. So, of the 21 people who reported a JS1, 11 got JS2s the week of Thanksgiving. Trust me, I have usernames if you want them...
Interesting if that means people who reported JS1s fell off the map.
But I don't need usernames. I'm a little too busy trying to survive 1L to be reanalyzing the events of 1 year ago.

It is your destiny.lastsamurai wrote:Whoa whoa I step away for half an hour and everyone goes nuts.
Just wait until people start blaming you for being wrong on JS1 predictions.

All I think about lately is my JS1, and I've started getting my hopes up way, way too high for a JS2. I'll be lucky if I get a waitlist! Oh god, things are going to start being painful once JS2s start rolling in. The wait for a decision is going to be agonizing.

Just went Complete. I posted complete before but I was looking at LSAC instead of Status Checker because I'm a n00b. Hopefully, I hear back soon about JS1.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
