Bahhhh. Haven't heard anything yet, but I'm now almost positive of rejection again. Should have never gotten my hopes up. Whatever, I'm happy with Cardozo, and transfers are possible.

I'm waiting on Fordham but going to Cardozo this weekend for the Monday ASD. Good luck to us both

Descartes..CONGRATS!!!! There was no doubt in my mind you were coming off the waitlist!!

Although I am fighting doubts about my own chances now the less I hear (applied Sept 2011)...so I think I am going to change my name to:
"Dubito, ergo cogito, ergo sum". (jk)

I have but at least we have lived to fight another day (and by "fight" i mean compulsively refresh the status checker every time you think about anything even remotely related to law school)

Thanks HE! Like everyone's been saying, stay positive, and know that Fordham will be pulling from the WL. I would be sure to send a LOCI and look for opportunities to reach back out (updated resume, transcripts, etc.) Lots of people have emphasized the importance of expressing interest when you're WL'ed at Fordham.

Haha, yeah, at least as a consolation prize you have proof of your existence (in a Cartesian sort of way) as a result of your situation with Fordham!

I went complete yesterday. What's the process here? Does it go under review or does it just go straight from complete to a result?

it will stay complete during the whole review process but the date usually updates several times before you get a decision.

I just came from a financial aid workshop with Dean Brown, and he was extremely willing for me to come to his office to negotiate scholarships.

Also, FWIW, he said that since they have alumni in all states but South Dakota, they would very seriously be willing to give a full-ride to any applicant from SD with decent scores.

I we have essentially the same numbers and they denied my request to negotiate.
