Well since that kid on LSN found out on Monday 11/30 (12/1 was a Monday last year), its quite possible people close to NYC will find out on Saturday.

Not really. All the 11/3 and 11/4 apps who were admitted last year were in the first batch except for one.Non-Chalant1 wrote:Well I guess a guy who submitted on 11/04 like me has a ways to wait then.

Re: NYU 2011
Hmm well last year, December started on a Tuesday (the day the letters were postmarked), and a lot of people got them on the 7th (the following Monday), and some NYCers reported getting them on the 4th & 5th (Friday and Saturday).
So if it follows the Tuesday pattern, we could probably see a similar distribution. But if it's a December 1st thing, then they would be sent on Wednesday, pushing everything back. So probably NYC would see movement Saturday/Monday, and other people maybe on Tuesday?
Also, this all assumes that they've even sent the goddamn things.

Finally UR 12/3. Submitted 11/11. Since I, and a handful of others, have reported going UR the last few days, to me that suggests those precious purple envelopes are in the mail.
