I like your thinking. Although that's probably because I live close to the city.
+1 Me too! (in the city)

Same, guys. Since I've been processing so long, I'm hoping it doesn't matter that my second LOR just arrived this week...right? RIGHT?????

Sadness :( I'm betting I'll be reporting the same thing in a couple hours when mine is delivered.

Let's hope for tomorrow? Or Monday...

Not really. All the 11/3 and 11/4 apps who were admitted last year were in the first batch except for one.

Hmm well last year, December started on a Tuesday (the day the letters were postmarked), and a lot of people got them on the 7th (the following Monday), and some NYCers reported getting them on the 4th & 5th (Friday and Saturday).

So if it follows the Tuesday pattern, we could probably see a similar distribution. But if it's a December 1st thing, then they would be sent on Wednesday, pushing everything back. So probably NYC would see movement Saturday/Monday, and other people maybe on Tuesday?

Also, this all assumes that they've even sent the goddamn things. :(

Finally UR 12/3. Submitted 11/11. Since I, and a handful of others, have reported going UR the last few days, to me that suggests those precious purple envelopes are in the mail.

Is it right to assume then this first batch is make-or-break?
