I do have a question about the residency email I received.

Do I log in, fill out those sections, and send a check for the 30$ -or- will the application let me use a credit card at the end?

Anyone been through this? The email was less than direct with how this works.

Yes, fill out the supp. stuff and it lets you pay at the end with credit card. Then you should get a status checker email after that.

Does UF send packages or just a simple decision letter? I cant believe I still haven't gotten my letter, it was mailed on 1/3 and I live 2 hours away!!

The acceptance letter came in an 8-1/2 x 11 envelope with just a few sheets in it. There was the acceptance letter, some program information, and forms for reserving your seat, IIRC. Scholly letter came a few weeks later.

This is my first time posting in here. I got my December 2010 score back and got a 159. My GPA is 3.84 and I am a double major graduating in 4 years. Anybody willing to guess my chances if I get everything in within the next 2 weeks? Also, should I retake Feb LSAT?

is it 3.81 or 3.84 slight difference, but still a difference? also, you don't need to ask this if you have already made a thread about it, the forum is cluttered as is

I'm sorry, not trying to pick a fight, but can we stop pretending that people's posts are "cluttering" anything. His/her question was reasonable and what better place to ask it? Let's all remember that this is a message board about law schools. I doubt anyone was affected by someone posting the same question in two different places.

had you applied earlier I would say your chances were pretty good but by the time you go complete, it's going to be February which is pretty late and puts you at a huge disadvantage.

I just checked in the mailings and no, they did not show a scholarship letter in the list. I received my scholly letter 3-4 weeks after the acceptance. Hope that helps!

So grades are posted and I am happy write, though off topic, that my GPA has jumped from a 3.75 to a 3.8. I will be sending an updated transcript Wednesday. Hopefully, this will either put me in or get me higher on that waitlist.

I apologize, wasn't sure if I'd get an answer after waiting. I first said 3.81, but after recalculating my new GPA by LSAC standards I'm pretty sure it's 3.84. I'm not sure if this is a huge difference so I took the safer side and said 3.81. I know that's on the upper side of UF's GPA range while 159 is on the lower end of the LSAT range. I think I'm going to retake Feb but just wanted to see what my chances are as is if I get everything complete before Feb 1.

just submitted app to LSAC (extremely late in the cycle I know)....been accepted to UM for a few months, but after doing more and more research on the cost of living donw there, somewhat having second thoughts. Still waiting for FSU to get back to me since November.

If you don't mind me asking, were they generous with the scholly offer? I'm waiting on that still. I did undergrad at UF so I wouldn't mind staying but would like a good reason to not go to UGA or bama.

My scholly wasn't huge, 6k/year. My GPA, however, was a lackluster 3.0x, so I wasn't expecting any scholly at all.
