It's not that much. It is only like 43k. I figure 175-200k would cover everything for the three years depending on how lavish a lifestyle you choose to have. Best of luck to those still waiting. Oh and I think all the info you are looking for is in the admitted students section of the NDLS webpage. No one has any reports on how things went for Admitted Students Day? I am in stuck in the middle of the pacific right now and couldn't attend.
The ASW was a lot of fun. A lot of cool people from all over the US. We all went out on multiple nights and had a great time. I'm excited for the fall.

I'm happy you all got a kick out the wording. I suppose it could be worse. Boalt is up to what 70k OOS now? This is getting quite ridiculous. It was nice to hear ASW went well though.

I'm pretty sure there's a lot of us still waiting to hear from Notre Dame. Complete 1/14 for me.

I applied in December. I have called pretty much weekly since then and daily the past 2 weeks. Still no word. Sucks as I had to put down $$$ at my back up. I don't see ND happening for me but I would walk away from my deposit in a heartbeat if I was accepted.

Visited the school today for a tour/info session. Absolutely love that place. New facilities are amazing, everyone there is so nice, and the campus just has an amazing atmosphere.

Praying to all that is holy that I get in off that waitlist!!

This may be a silly question as I do not apply until the next application cycle, so bear with me.

I plan to apply to Notre Dame, and am Catholic. - Here's the issue.
Is your listing of religious affiliation based on an "honor code" or do they follow up with the diocese? I made my communion when I was young, but have never been confirmed. Anyone have any insight?

You're fine they're not following up.

Yup, my deposit is in. You all should hear soon, a lot of spots are going to free up, as well as money.

Hey guys, I'm new and only just started reading the last two pages of the topic. I applied 2/1 with 163/3.5, non URM, and wrote what I thought was a pretty compelling Why ND letter. Including my dad and grandfather I have 8 relatives that went to ND, and we're all Catholic (I don't know how much weight they put on that, but hey, can't hurt). This wait to hear from ND is killing me, as they are my first choice and I have money sent to my backup already.

Mostly just venting at this point, but any insight is welcome. For those still waiting, are you inclined to feel like your chances improve or worsen with every day you don't hear since they haven't rejected you yet?

Dont mean to be a total buzzkill but I wouldn't get hopes up. While they do in UG admissions I don't think they care too much about legacy or Catholicism in LS admissions. Of course, I'm also bitter as I'm a Catholic alum with what I thought was a pretty compelling why ND letter and I got WL.

I do hope you get in, though.

Not to be a downer, but I was on the WL last year. Admissions called me, I eventuallly did get off the WL. They called me on the Friday morning before the Monday which class was to start. They said they had some additional seats to fill after some students did not show for orientation. I had already started classes the week before at another law school. Thanks but no thanks....

As much as that may seem like a horror story, that honestly gives me so much hope.
