This new development (hearing back by April) makes me excited and nervous.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised since I'm not even complete yet. I'd rather know for sure within a month than suffer like most of the people ITT who have been speculating for months ;)

I feel like I'm just going to be constantly nervous until I actually have a solid plan in place for the fall. :/

We're not gonna hear anything until all pre-waitlist JS1's are conducted -- my prediction. Anyone have any idea when that may be?

This isn't to say there won't be any JS2's soon......but I think any JS2's will be to auto-admits or recent JS1's. Those of us who have been waiting a while since our JS1 probably won't hear for a bit.

If the 'decision by April' doesn't apply to us long-waiters, we'll still hear within two weeks of that. I like to think sooner than later though :D

My JS1 was on January 8th, if I recall correctly.

Also, yes, I am a URM.

Actually had my JS1 this week. Was very nice, I only said a couple derpy things. She didn't mention anything a about timeline, although we went way over time so she had to go kindve abruptly. Did any of you guys send a thank you - or any other sort of follow up - e-mail afterward?

Does anyone want to go to HLS regardless if they get to attend ASW?

I've read that MSW really solidified people's opinions about the school

Also, sorry for the ding!

Is there a consensus that there is a tendency for one interviewer to accept more candidates than another? Or is this another sign of neuroticism?
