no! I wasn't that person. So perhaps this is something HLS is telling later-date interviewees.. a sign that perhaps application cycle is wrapping up? I've interviewed very recently.scoobers wrote:^were you the person who PMed me and mentioned that?

Re: Harvard, C/O 2017, Applicants Thread (2013-2014)
My guess is that HLS probably has a substantial portion of their class filled so they have a pretty good idea about what the 2017 class looks like. Last 100 or so spots could potentially be given out fairly quickly since they have all the data they need by this point, incl. Feb LSAT + a better picture of the entire applicant pool.
This could be a pure speculation, but it seems like a reasonable line of thinking to me... Maybe initial admits by April 1st, and shout out to held applicants later? I don't know.

HLS Blog mentions something about April
You will receive notification as soon as we reach a decision and everyone who applies by the application deadline will hear from us no later than mid-April (at that time, we will offer some people a spot on our waiting list).

Wow, so I guess that means they've had enough time to process the Feb LSAT. I had figured it would take longer.mazer wrote:Without interview and with February LSAT--complete 1/24esther0123 wrote:Hi sorry to hear that. I know that some people are admitted without ever receiving a JS1 but that it is only a small number of applciants, does anyone have any idea around how many each cycle are admitted without JS1s?

You have to have a JS1 to be admitted.jace8819 wrote:I know that some people are admitted without ever receiving a JS1 but that it is only a small number of applciants, does anyone have any idea around how many each cycle are admitted without JS1s?

Before anyone asks:
Rejection emails, like JS2 calls, trickle in at different times.
ETA: I guess I was late on that.

Ah! Missed the "late"muzzy wrote:Right, thanks! I was hoping to find out how late JS1s are extended. I'm sure timing might be disrupted by the extended app deadline, though.Arrow4Christ wrote:Email.muzzy wrote:For those wiser than I:

It's hard to say how many JS1's are still to be given out, although there have been people who have gone:muzzy wrote:Right, thanks! I was hoping to find out how late JS1s are extended. Complete ---> Wait list ---> JS1
So theoretically they could be extended throughout the summer.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
