I just got the same email. It was weird, because I'd already committed and submitted my loan agreement. Not going to argue it though. Hopefully, it happens for more of you! For reference, I had 45k a year before. 3.84/ 172.

called MAC to see if it was a joke. Turns out they got more funding from the larger university after requesting for a bigger budget. YES.
ETA: wait...so do they owe us our deposits back now? Since it was originally credited to tuition? whtever they can keep it

Maybe it'll go to fees and the such? I assume we still have parking and random student fees to pay.cusenation wrote:called MAC to see if it was a joke. Turns out they got more funding from the larger university after requesting for a bigger budget. YES.

Long time lurker here, decided I'd take the posting plunge with all the excitement going on. Just got updated to a full ride from my previous offer of $87,000. Stats (for those of you wondering): 166/3.2 ...also I'm a girl if that makes any difference in funding

June's usually the time when people set their budgets for the upcoming fiscal year so I'm guessing they got a lot more than they expect. Seriously tho....I'm tso confused/grateful. I feel like crying.

Health Insurance is $780 a year, student bar in 90, other fees 300. Even if you don't buy a parking pass you owe them.cusenation wrote:True true, but that still only comes to 460 lol, we're owed $340TigerChick13 wrote: Maybe it'll go to fees and the such? Is the health insurance fee listed on a separate page?Tuition for the 2013-14 academic year is $48,345 divided into fall and spring payments. Tuition for the fall semester is due by August 20th;
Student Bar Association Fee $90;
Orientation Fee $70;
Student Health Services Fee: $300;
EDIT: Nvm I see it in the admit portal!

My guess:MarkinKansasCity wrote: No fucking idea how this happened.
JL and MAC were agonizing over yield data and budget spreadsheets trying to figure out how to hit medians. Syverud walks in with a check and says, "fuck it we're just buying them back."
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
