Agreed. I think (hope and pray) there will definitely be some movement this week...it's been a minute (even if we heard of some Sunday acceptances this past weekend).Arrow4Christ wrote:I'm thinking a wave Thursday or Friday personally, but here's hopingyomisterd wrote:I'm feeling today. Has anyone gotten a held email yet? Or... anything if no js1 invite? Iirc holds started going out way earlier last year but there seems to have been relatively scant discussion of those in this year's thread?

Any reason for predicting that, or are you just calling it like I mindlessly and emphatically call out my guesses at the lottery numbers when they are shown before Jeopardy?dreamerchic19 wrote:I'm predicting activity Friday-Sunday

If we were all together in a physical space, it would be fun to create a dollar pool. I would take acceptances starting Thursday at 2pm.

I like that. I'd take Thursday 3pm. And we'd go off of the time of the call, right? Not the time it was posted on TLS.yomisterd wrote:If we were all together in a physical space, it would be fun to create a dollar pool. I would take acceptances starting Thursday at 2pm.

Has anyone consulted the 8-Ball or Ouija board recently? Or is that not a thing anymore.

My Ouija board told me to get a life.. 8-ball said "all signs point to yes", but I was asking my 8-ball if my Ouija board was working correctly.Nonconsecutive wrote:Has anyone consulted the 8-Ball or Ouija board recently? Or is that not a thing anymore.

But all jokes aside, let's see some more JS2's soon.

i have my JS1 interview next week; was wondering if someone could point me to materials covering the interview structure on the board. i've checked out the main interview thread but most of the responses there seem to cover KBs, which isn't as helpful now.

the Regulus interview thread is still pretty spot-on, re: JS1lawlorbust wrote:i have my JS1 interview next week; was wondering if someone could point me to materials covering the interview structure on the board. i've checked out the main interview thread but most of the responses there seem to cover KBs, which isn't as helpful now.

Yeh. Don't imagine this as a formal intense interview. HLS likes something about you and wants to have a conversation to get to know you better. And yeah, know why law school. Good luck!JWP1022 wrote:don't be awkwardlawlorbust wrote:i have my JS1 interview next week; was wondering if someone could point me to materials covering the interview structure on the board. i've checked out the main interview thread but most of the responses there seem to cover KBs, which isn't as helpful now.

It's better to do that with laptops, where "looking in to the screen" essentially means you are looking downward. I did my JS1 on a desktop, so I didn't have to force myself to look up at the camera as much, just at the screen/my interviewer.Pau.C. wrote:I have heard it's best to look directly at the webcam when you talk. It seems as if you are actually looking at the other person. It takes some practice, but I think it ultimately looks better.JWP1022 wrote:and look at your interviewer when you talk
And yeah, as WTRC said, it's not a formal, intense interview at all. Just try not to be stiff. Hell, crack some jokes. It shows that you're comfortable.
