Good luck, guys. I think they usually accept a decent number over the summer to fill the slots of people who get off wait lists higher up. It is great here and I think you all would really enjoy it. It sucks to wait. Good luck.

I sure wish they would just go ahead and give me a spot. I would like to see something new on my daily status checking ritual. I am still holding out for a spot at Cornell, while
begrudgingly preparing for BU. BU gave me a great scholly, but I'd drop
it in a sec for Cornell.

FWIW folks, when I got in off of the reserve list back in May, I didn't have the links until several days after I received my packet in the mail. I can't remember what my status said at the time, but I found out I was accepted via email...

Did your checker change before receiving the email? Or was it simultaneous?

What's really interesting is that the Cornell admissions office just told me that they do not send decisions via email, insinuating that it was some sort of policy that have. She said that my decision has not been processed yet and so she could not tell me what it is. I'm sort of assuming that is a bad sign bc it seems like they would want to tell me asap if it were an admit. Also, my checker changed to EAC and my date is still at 4/14/2010. I asked her about that and she said it was a mistake, that it should read decision.

I honestly have no idea. At that point I think everyone assumed there wouldn't be movement until June, if at all, so I wasn't checking it. I got the email, and at some point between getting the email and the packet in the mail a few days later, I checked my status and I specifically remember not having the links (I was super anxious for more information beyond the email). I think my status at that point was "decision," but I'm not sure. I might have been stuck at "complete" for a couple of days before turning over to "decision." Anyway, moral of the story is that not having links does not necessarily = bad news.
