WOO HOO!!
Tuition Equalization Scholarship "commit to enroll" only means send in seat deposit, does NOT mean withdraw all other applications. I'm so relieved!

Congrats about the tuition equalization! How did you find out that "commit to enroll" means not withdrawing all other applications?

Re: Univ of Georgia
E-mailed Paul Rollins, the thought of having to "commit" by 4/1 was giving me an ulcer so I sucked it up and asked. I'm glad I did, I feel 1,000x better ... a $50 seat deposit I can handle.GatorGirl1230 wrote:Congrats about the tuition equalization! How long did it take you guys to hear a decision from U.GA after submitting everything through LSAC?
I still haven't gotten a confirmation e-mail from them and am getting worried, as I submitted it to LSAC about 3 weeks ago. Should I be worried? I hear they seem to take awhile but will I get a confirmation e-mail with status checker information when they get my info?

Go to their website now and sign up. Then you will have status checker. Sometimes they never get around to sending out the email.lawlife2010 wrote:How long did it take you guys to hear a decision from U.GA after submitting everything through LSAC?

Pretty much one week until I find out if UGA is going to be an option for me based on the Feb. LSAT. I feel like I've been waiting forever (probably because I have haha). Hopefully I hit my goal or above, get accepted, get tuition equaliziation and will be seeing everyone in the fall

Re: Univ of Georgia
"held for further review" today. Meh. I assume this is the friendly version of the waitlist? haha
Now that I have two acceptances at two schools I like A LOT more... I really don't even care. If I get in after the hold, I might change my tune, though.

With your scores, probably a soft WL. It looks like there's a hard 164 wall for admits on LSN. Hopefully your awesome GPA can get you the admit though.Pretzel_Logic wrote:"held for further review" today. Meh. I assume this is the friendly version of the waitlist? haha

Re: Univ of Georgia
I would call UGA and ask if something is missing/wrong with your application. If you got accepted to Emory and USC, you should be in at UGA!
