I wouldn't give up just yet. They already have scholies out that they are waiting to hear back on. As some people withdraw, they will work on down the list. Just let them know that you are interested but worried about the cost, send in the financial aid and wait it out.

Definitely should not be worried yet. I've been ready for review since 11/25 and I just started thinking about GW again. I think GW is an instance where not hearing is a good thing. GW has been accepting, rejecting and waitlisting applicants. So if they wanted to reject you (assuming they've even gotten to your application yet, which I doubt since it hasn't even been a month) they would have done so. Some schools, like BU, have only been accepting people. Not hearing from those schools, I think, is a bad sign (or at least not a good sign). But GW doesn't seem to work like that.

Well considering December retakers who were complete at the exact same time as me have received decisions postmarked 1/19, i was getting a bit concerned about that...i just hope it was not lost in the mail

Got the admittance package today with a hand written note and exactly $0 in scholarship money. Extremely disappointed. I was interested in GW and thought I had a chance to get something in the way of money. I'm not even sold on the idea of paying sticker at lower T10, like Michigan, much less sticker at GW (plus DC's ridiculous COL)!

Oh well, guess they made it easy for me. There's no way they get my seat deposit. Of course, GW won't be losing any sleep at night over that because there's a horde of kids behind me who will gladly write that check lol.
