And did their status checker change before they got the call? Sorry to bombard you with questions, but we're all just so tired of waiting to hear ourselves!

No problem, sorry I can't be much help. I asked her and she said she never checked her status checker(never registered). And accepted to both programs (FT/PT). She's not sure which one to pick, depends on $$. Hope I can help, still waiting on SMU myself though i'll will withdraw if WL

That's kind of odd, since by applying to the school you are automatically registered for status check. Also, you can't get accepted into both at SMU, it's one or the other. I know this because my uncle is a professor at SMU. I think your friend may be lying to you.

Hmmm i don't know what to tell you. You can believe what you want. I believe her, she's a good friend. I don't like to give too much info over the net but but I can say she was heavily involved while @ SMU, works at a Biglaw firm downtown with great recs from lawyers with lots of SMU pull. I found it weird too that the call would go out on a Monday but i haven't really been following this thread till recently so what do I know...
Again you can believe what you want, I know she not lying, just wanted to share the info. FWIW I'm waiting on SMU also, I've been complete since 2/10 or so. I have no reason to lie. I don't understand why SMU is being so random with their acceptances, so much for it being my safety school lol oh wells...

I just missed a call from a number with area code 877. I started to freak out, but when I called the number back it was just Sprint telling me about some stupid special they have. Ugh. What is Dallas' area code anyway??

SMU's area code is 214. When it shows up on your caller ID it's 214-768-XXXX. 768 is the first three numbers for most of the stuff on campus.

I have been complete there since NOVEMBER!!!! What is up with them?! It's so weird that they are waiting until the LAST minute to send out their decisions. I'm going to U Texas instead, but I'm just anxious to hear back from SMU. Crazy! Hopefully decisions are made tomorrow!

Withdraw if you know that you will not be attending. Others who are ready to enroll at SMU will love you for it.

+1 ... man, you just gotta withdraw (unless you are holding out for serious scholarship money ... even so, I would attend UT at sticker over SMU at 1/2 tuition to a full-ride).
