Did you all send your LOCIs by post or by email?

Edit: pedantry note: is it actually "LsOCI"?

One thing to note is most people don't receive a confirmation email for 4-7 days, so don't freak out if you don't hear immediately. good luck!

Does anyone know at what point in time it is most reasonable/effective to send a second LOCI?

Curious, what kind of substantial update do you have to your application between your first LOCI and now?

I had to submit a substantial resume update after the first LOCI on april 1 since a summer job was confirmed, but i would imagine it's worth sending a second one if you have a similar update or won a prize, award, etc. or something along those lines

Nothing too substantial, just wondering if there is any purpose of confirming the "continued interest" aspect at some point in time after deposit season has passed.

I guess it would be this Wednesday or Thursday, since by then all interviews of the first wave of JS1 will be completed and you should send in one more LOCI to indicate your continued interest in order that they may take you into account during the second wave

Probably. Whatever else comes out of this process, though, I learned how to set an email alert on my phone so I'll get a big fat notification if/when an email comes from JD Admissions!

That said, my lack of trust in techonology is such that I'm still checking regularly anyway. But, at least in theory, I don't need to!

Never trust technology. My phone was freezing up a lot so I took it to the Apple store to get fixed. Everything went fine and since I was on vacation I didn't think too much of my phone not going off with emails. For some reason I randomly opened the email app and saw that I'd missed four days of emails that my phone had decided it didn't need to alert me to. Moral of the story. Technology is evil.

I looked at some of the past years and JS1bs started around May 20

Hopefully everything's earlier this year

How about in relation to the post-waitlist JS1s? What was the average time span between the first JS1bs and the the first interview requests and/or interviews themselves?

Had JS1 yesterday, and the interviewer told me they can't predict when I am going to hear back....

Does everyone get that? Or is that a negative sign... cuz I thought post-wl JS1 typically hear back in a couple of days...

Also curious, any insight from JS1ers provided to you re: admissions process/timeline?

My friends who got off WL last year were 1 week and 2 weeks respectively, but they weren't told during the interview what the timeline would be
