Invited to interview today (submitted 12/4)

Woke up this morning with an invitation to interview! Went complete on 12/1.

I have a median LSAT and GPA> 75th and still no interview invite or decision. Complete on 12/1 so this is concerning for me...

I'll repeat that I don't think you have much to fear. I'm a super splitter located near LA, so for them I probably should be interviewed since my stats are strange and it's convenient to do it as well! No cause for worry on your end.

I actually think you have very little reason to be concerned! From what I've read and found, interviews do not seem to correlate much with the qualifications of the applicant! The consensus on past threads is that if its logistically possible they will attempt to get you set up. I have seen a bunch of people have complete silence from GULC and get acceptances in the mail, people with >75% LSAT and GPA get waitlisted after an interview and people with splitter numbers get in with and without an interview. So it doesn't seem to be much of an indicator if anything at all about where you stand with them in admissions.

ah, okay. Yeah, I'm located in an area where any type of in-person interview is very unlikely, so that may be the reason.

Has anyone else not heard back since their group interview in November? They said I'd hear back within 3 weeks, been 4.5 already. Figuring it's a ding since people had later interviews and been accepted already?

I have above 75th LSAT and at/above median GPA. I graduated from a uni abroad though, and have grey factors in my background. I think interviews are usually to make sure those grey areas don't translate to me being a crazy person in real life.

I didn't get the email yet. The letter's postmarked 12/12, but I'll update here once I get it. Had a nice handwritten note from Dean Cornblatt and told me about their open house 1/26-27. Now I have to figure out how to get down there and where I'd stay for the night..

Update: it works! It's the no password link, then they ask for your last name & email address and send your username and password for access.

When should I start worrying that I haven't received any contact from GULC at all since I went complete in Mid November? I don't think I should be worried, since I'm above both 75th's, but I can't help but be a little tense.

Just now I did it again, they sent me an email with username and password. However, I can't log in with them.

I didn't see anything in particular we should be focusing on. Just some good information about upcoming deadlines and things like that.
