Interviewed 12/22/2015, and that’s IT! Has anyone interviewed after that date has heard anything back?

I interviewed a week or so before that and got the call early last week, so don't worry just yet.downtownboy wrote:Interviewed 12/22/2015, and that’s IT! Has anyone interviewed after that date has heard anything back?

I submitted my interview today. I don't spend much time talking to a computer, and I think that made it a little awkward for me. I didn't get any of the questions I was expecting either which caught me a little off guard. Cornell is my top choice so I'm extremely excited I had the opportunity to interview!

Same, except no date change on the 14th... I'm still stuck at 12/22xtrmriot wrote:Same... So far, no one has been admitted without the interview so it is a positive sign, but a few folks seem to have gotten bad news after interviewing, so its not a sure thing. If you've never done anything like it before, I strongly suggest doing a little practice beforehand (I'm pretty sure you can find the questions by poking around here). FWIW, I was admitted about 5 hours after submitting, but that was super early and other folks have had wildy varying wait times. Good luck to everyone!BillClinton Jr wrote: I was just thinking this! It says to get the interview in within 10 days so I assume that means they want to get decisions turned around quickly, hopefully. Ditto on the awkward interview. Mine was in December as well. However I don't think it was awkward enough to get me dinged. Then again maybe it was :sskimmilk wrote:Same, except no date change on the 14th... I'm still stuck at 12/22xtrmriot wrote:Same... I know this makes me sound SUPER paranoid but how did everyone dress for the interview? I know it's a recorded internet video interview but idk still feel like it matters (again, I know there is a good chance I'm just being ridiculously paranoid). Thanks

Jacket, tie, dress shirt, underwear. I would dress business professional from the waist up. Probably wouldn't matter if you're a little more informal, but why take the risk.

I just did business casual. Anymore and I feel like I'd look like I was trying to compensate.BillClinton Jr wrote:I know this makes me sound SUPER paranoid but how did everyone dress for the interview? If you read the interview instructions it actually states that Cornell couldn't care less if you wear pajama bottoms as long you look professional from the waist up.. Just read through the rest of the instructions, they outline what would be acceptable to wear.BillClinton Jr wrote:Good point. Thanks!Budfox55 wrote:Jacket, tie, dress shirt, underwear. Sorry to hear that. You got Columbia at least!benwyatt wrote:Waitlisted just now.

ETA: From what I've gathered from lawschoolnumbers.com, Cornell seems to release acceptances in big waves. When you check decision dates, there was one big wave on 01/26 last year with only acceptances.

Hey what were the questions you had? I saw a few in here but I plan on doing mine tomorrow and still have some preparation to do.GoogleWasMyIdea wrote:Completed my interview last night and I'm definitely not a fan of the format. Very, very awkward. The questions weren't difficult at all. It's just that the time runs out so quickly. And it's weird looking at yourself on your screen instead of someone else. I don't know... I hope I did well enough.
Sorry to all the dings at waitlists

Not sure if this has been covered, but does the status checker change when you get a decision?kjm1992 wrote:Just got the call a little bit ago! Also it showed no caller id so look out for that!
