Congrats to all the awesome JS2 folks.
On another note, I had my JS1 on 6 November. How long before I need to resign myself for waiting a while/give up on being an early admit?

When is the latest that anyone was called? Trying to decide if I should keep freaking out or if I should give up for the day and start crying.

That wave also started around 6pm ET. It's pretty silly to try to make inferences like this, but hey, this is TLS, amirite people?tflan19 wrote:Nope, don't tell me this. I was going to move on and bury my harvard dreams.oliverotis wrote:fyi in 2013 JS was making calls until almost 8pm ET

+180 words of reason! also definitely not HLS YP lolQuentonCassidy wrote:Hahaha thank you for the kind words, but I doubt it's YP. I was pretty clear in my JS1 that H was my top choice. Also I didn't even apply to Yale, so that would be really awful if what you posited is actually the case.cantorb wrote:QC considering your profile I would guess that they're sort of yield protecting you with the assumption that you will probably go to Yale. I have a final in an hour, and even though every bit of rationality left within me knows that they have stopped calling for today, I think I'm still going to have a difficult time concentrating while knowing that I could be missing my JS2

Re: Harvard C/O 2019 Applicants
good news for those waiting - from the spreadsheet from last year (2014-2015) only one person (out of 30) in the first four waves was denied/waitlisted. There are a small handful that sat at "decision pending" and never came back and filled in the sheet but it looks like our odds are pretty good as early JS1s. That being said, lots of those folks weren't admitted in the first JS wave but got positive answers in Jan/Feb (there was a month gap between the initial and second waves).
That being said, I'm very hopeful we'll have good news, it might just be more on the "new years" timeline that we originally expected.
