I find the date theory extremely difficult to get behind - though I can't eloquently articulate why.

I think it's definitely wrong, because if they knew our results a month ago, it would be quite strange to hold onto them for no reason (especially since acceptances were coming out at the time). Just clinging to anything I can

It would be strange but not abnormal. I mean, they could have grouped them based on date, still: borderline candidates 12/14, solid admits 12/17, etc. Had another read through over the holidays, and released on whatever dates. They haven't sent out that many decision days and they were waiting on the Dec takers to get scores to fill out their applicant pool.

GPA between 25th and median. LSAT at 75th. I was planning on deferring anyhow so I might just wait out the WL. Or reapply next year.
