Just got the invitation to interview for the Darrow. Anyone know much about the interview process? Typical award amts? The email said it can be up to full tuition plus stripend. I would guess that's not typical though?

No insight, just jealousy. Why don't you love me, Michigan?

There is this Darrow thread: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... lit=darrow. I'm not sure how informative it will be for your questions, though. I think the interview process is relatively new.

Deferred to RD

Q: Is it a good idea to send them my newly written diversity statement and an updated version of my personal statement for their consideration?

Today is 15th, which means all the EDers should be able to hear back by the end of the day. For those who haven't heard back yet, fingers crossed for you!! For those admits, let's rock Ann Arbor this summer! For those who got deferred to RD, send them more materials you think they might find helpful, and wish for the best, good luck to you all!

I don't know about newly written stuff, I thought they would be more interested in supplementary materials, probably you can write another optional essay? Or ask for another letter of recommendation? Or find some connection?

When you say newly written, does that mean it's brand new and they haven't seen any sort of diversity statement from you before? Or you've edited your old one and it's new in that sense?

I feel like it's risky to update a DS, because presumably your DS is more than just your interests; it's your identity, and I think it could come across as strange if you were to change that.

To EDers that haven't heard yet, the UMich Admissions twitter just tweeted that everyone's status checkers are updated!

In 12/15 (176/3.54). I'm intl, so didn't receive my acceptance package yet, but received an "offer follow up" email from Sarah Zearfoss yesterday and realized I was in.

Congrats and good luck, all!
