You can't get anything on USNWR other thank ranking without a premium account. You can go to the school's website for medians and so on..

Re: USC c/o 2017 Applicants Thread (2013-2014)
I'm still "In Final Review" since 3/5 as well. I wouldn't worry too much. From my understanding, the decision has already been made and this is when they make sure all the envelopes are properly addressed/ dot all the i's and cross all the t's (don't want to admit/reject the wrong applicants). It seems like those on 3/5 final review will be a part of a decision wave. Not sure what the decision will be, but that's how it appears. This is pure speculation though. I'm a reverse splitter with diversity/adversity attributes so I'm hoping I have a chance (especially because they reviewed my app for two months/I wasn't an auto ding) but it's pretty late in the cycle. Fingers crossed though! Good luck to everyone! Also, I read that an acceptance email usually comes within 48 hours of "decision finalized" and rejections come through snail mail (in a larger envelope). Here's to hoping we get that email though!

Kinda bummed they couldn't have at least sent a ding email for the Rothman app. It would have been nice to at least hear something rather than wait for the interview days to come and pass.

Me too (3/5 final review). I spent some time looking through last year's thread. People who sat in Final Review for a long time at this point in the cycle did not seem to have such good outcomes. There were a few acceptances for those above both 75ths, other than that, waitlist and mostly rejections. Idk, things are probably different this year. I've pretty much lost all hope.LoveforLaw341 wrote:I'm still "In Final Review" since 3/5 as well. I wouldn't worry too much. Edit: It looks like the true death knell last year though was to be moved into Decision Made and not receive an acceptance email the same day. Result was snail mail rejection.

If an applicant has a reason to utilize and submit the supplemental/ explanation addendums in their application, would an investigation - I would assume one would be performed - perhaps be the reason for the amount of time it is taking for a final decision?
Hypothetically speaking of course…

Mine changed to "decision finalized". I don't know what to make of this. On the one hand, why would they not immediately release notification of denial via the status checker or email? On the other hand, WHO FUCKING KNOWS. AAAAAH I'M GOING TO GO CRAZY.

I spent a lot of time reading through last year's thread at this time. Check out my post higher on this page.isuperserial wrote:Mine changed to "decision finalized". Mine also changed to "Decision finalized". I thought I had a pretty good shot with USC, but it's not looking so good now.

I don't have that info posted. When I got into ND it said decision finalized and had seat deposit numbers right away (this has been "a thing" for ND, the seat deposits meaning admitted). Looking at the fact you got into Michigan I'd think you were a sure shot for USC. For me, I think it's quite a reach.yeslekkkk wrote:I don't have that info posted. "WITHDREW -- $149,520 (received the Rothman offer! full-tuition, stipend, and paid summer associates at Skadden) (via voicemail from Dean on 4/13); Notified to interview for Rothman (call on 3/4); Admitted e-mail (2/11); Decision Finalized 2/7; Submitted 11/20."
I pulled this from some kid on the big list of people admitted below. So I think we can take heart in the fact that you are not immediately notified, even with an extremely positive result.
