Lol'd at quiver because it so accurately portrays how I answer these phone calls...followed by a gulp and then a "thank you so much" with an audible and unmistakable attempt at holding back tears

So we've determined that the uppercase/lowercase email bug isn't occurring again this year, right?

eta: doesn't seem like it from rereading this thread from when the first acceptances started coming out this cycle . My emails are both lowercase in the status checker, and I went back and checked the PDF app preview, and my primary email was uppercase in that, and I didn't even fill out a secondary email (in the status checker it's the same as my primary). Thus, I had a fleeting moment of hope...but now it's gone. Le sigh.

got my status check info yesterday, changed my password, and everything worked fine last night and this morning. now when i try to log-in, the website is saying it doesn't even recognize my user name. is this happening with anyone else?

Yep, I've been having that problem since last night around 9:00pm PST. Not sure if it's anything more than a glitch in their systems, but it certainly doesn't help with the anxiety.
