Yeah, I had some under 21 problems, and then I had a disorderly conduct issue last summer. Became a noise ordinance thing, but still. I really don't think I'm going to do this again, if I don't land somewhere I want to, that'll be it.AlanShore wrote:sorry..emarxnj wrote:Dinged via e-mail. 3.1, 169, 2 years WE. Feel like drinking.I have a c&f issue too and i was only accepted to my safeties as well when i applied 3 yrs ago. but this time around, my cycle has been much better (MINUS BC GOD).. not awesome but not really strange. Was your c&f pretty recent (last 2 yrs)? if so, maybe try again in a year or two after some good WE. it helps.
Sorry for the sad-sackery, congrats to the admits!

Assuming under 21 just involves alcohol, it doesn't seem insurmountable. Did you address any issues in a really honest and forward-looking way?

From what I've read on this thread, most people seem to be UR for about a month unfortunately..sirilu91 wrote:Went complete- 1/4

Finally under review. That took almost a month!
How long did it take for most people to find out after UR? My chances are extremely slim

Re: BC 2012-2013 Applicants
I'm still waiting on a few schools but from everywhere I've gotten into so far this would be the decision I would have to make. I got a lot of money from W&L but for me BC would be a much better long term location most likely. I went to a rural undergrad, so I could do it again but after school I'm going to want to be in a city and Boston would actually be one of if not my top option. I feel like it'd be awfully hard to turn down the money if it ends up being really unequal though especially with W&L actually being ranked higher.JayJones78 wrote: Totally agree.
I'm trying to find reasons for the BC vs. W&L debate, if I get to that point.

Re: BC 2012-2013 Applicants
Does anybody know anything about BC's tendencies regarding merit scholarships?
Like who tends to get offers, the size of their offers relative to peer schools, willingness to negotiate, etc.
