Does anyone know what happens if you don't get the JS2? Do they straight up reject or waitlist you? And how long until you find out? Any insight is much appreciated.

I don't know if you mean that you don't EVER get a JS2 or just right now. If it is the latter, you definitely aren't rejected for not getting called. You might not even get wait listed and might get admitted a little later when they have interviewed more people. It is still extremely early, don't think that just because you haven't gotten a call they aren't thinking about admitting you (this is coming from the guy who went into a crazy depressed state when I didn't get a call yesterday lol).

I guess I'm wondering because of the talk of the JS2s for the first round of JS1s coming out before Thanksgiving. Maybe it was just that they would START coming out before Thanksgiving, and I mixed it up in my mind.

Does anybody have trend based speculation on when the next round of JS1's comes out? As a follow up, which date had the latest batch of JS1's submitted/gone complete by?

I got a JS2 today and have a [removed stats] for what it's worth. I could definitely be the exception to the rule though.

Congrats to everyone who got a JS2 today! You guys must be ecstatic.

So is it just me and elterrible in the JS1-no-JS2 club? I guess I couldn't ask to be in better company, but I'll still be concerned if it's just the two of us. Though I wouldn't be surprised if they left us for Friday for some strange reason. And JS has even been known to call on the weekends so who knows? Maybe she'll troll us and call tomorrow lol. Not giving up until they reject me.

As for JS1s, I'm not even going to attempt to predict anything specific anymore. I have no idea what their strategy is.

I vaguely recall reading an HLS blog post saying that if you don't receive an answer after two months, they put your application on hold until they see more of the applicants. I'll look for the post and link it here.

Sorry to be MIA, but I got the JS2 email a couple days ago. I have to say this again, especially since it's Thanksgiving: TLS has given me so much. Thank you guys for this awesome community of people who want to do the best they can. It's been a huge inspiration. I am in waaaaay over my head, and I need all the help I can get. Congrats to everyone else who has gotten in!!

Got my JS2 on Wednesday. 3.84/175. I think there's definitely still hope for those interviewed who are waiting for a phone call.

Another day of radio silence here. Does anyone know if the admissions office was even open today?

If they don't call on Monday, I'm going to assume I'll be held in January and won't get in until March at best. Now reading the held and waitlist threads from last year to prepare myself.
