I thought it was going to be a strong year for high LSATs but maybe that isn't the case.
Still way too early to tell though.

I don't know if you mean that you don't EVER get a JS2 or just right now. If it is the latter, you definitely aren't rejected for not getting called. You might not even get wait listed and might get admitted a little later when they have interviewed more people. It is still extremely early, don't think that just because you haven't gotten a call they aren't thinking about admitting you (this is coming from the guy who went into a crazy depressed state when I didn't get a call yesterday lol).elterrible78 wrote:Does anyone know what happens if you don't get the JS2? Do they straight up reject or waitlist you? And how long until you find out? Any insight is much appreciated.
I guess I'm wondering because of the talk of the JS2s for the first round of JS1s coming out before Thanksgiving. Maybe it was just that they would START coming out before Thanksgiving, and I mixed it up in my mind.Cantthinkof1 wrote:I don't know if you mean that you don't EVER get a JS2 or just right now. I got a JS2 today and have a [removed stats] for what it's worth. I could definitely be the exception to the rule though.sinfiery wrote:Seems to be the case.michlaw wrote:Am I right in believing that almost everone in so far has a 3.9 or above?

I vaguely recall reading an HLS blog post saying that if you don't receive an answer after two months, they put your application on hold until they see more of the applicants. I'll look for the post and link it here.elterrible78 wrote:Does anyone know what happens if you don't get the JS2? Do they straight up reject or waitlist you? And how long until you find out? I take it your GPA is .83 and not .8 right?Lavitz wrote:Congrats to everyone who got a JS2 today! You guys must be ecstatic.
So is it just me and elterrible in the JS1-no-JS2 club? I guess I couldn't ask to be in better company, but I'll still be concerned if it's just the two of us. Though I wouldn't be surprised if they left us for Friday for some strange reason. And JS has even been known to call on the weekends so who knows? Maybe she'll troll us and call tomorrow lol. Not giving up until they reject me.
As for JS1s, I'm not even going to attempt to predict anything specific anymore. I have no idea what their strategy is.
That's correct.sinfiery wrote:I take it your GPA is .83 and not .8 right?

That's what I keep telling myself, that's what I keep telling myself. We'll see. But in any case, congrats to you!vman21 wrote:JS2 yesterday at 10.25 a.m. but couldnt check email until now because net was down where I am.
Lavitz and Elterrible, at least in my opinion it would be absurd if they turned either of you down. My money is that you get it sooner rather than later.
Congrats to everyone who got JS2 already, i am SURE more are on the way after turkey day. Calls take a long time to make!
Good luck all.

Yeah, congrats, vman! I was wondering if you ever got one, since I knew you didn't get an e-mail at the same time as the others.elterrible78 wrote:That's what I keep telling myself, that's what I keep telling myself. I saw your app on LSN and was quite excited. Gratz.hq2x wrote:Got my JS2 on Wednesday. 3.84/175. I think there's definitely still hope for those interviewed who are waiting for a phone call.

I'm taking the total lack of reporting as a positive sign. Probably nobody in the office today. We should both probably stop thinking so much about this.Lavitz wrote:Congrats, guys!
Another day of radio silence here. Does anyone know if the admissions office was even open today?
If they don't call on Monday, I'm going to assume I'll be held in January and won't get in until March at best. Now reading the held and waitlist threads from last year to prepare myself.
Now there's a charge.
