That. But I have another question. If you request the school to send an updated transcript to LSAC, is there any way to limit the recipients? A school requested my grades, and they explicitly asked me to have the transcript officially sent through LSAC, but I got a B+ this semester, and I'd rather not send it to all other schools as well.

I think you need to research the ramifications of sending through LSAC, because everyone gets the grades and the GPA schools have to report is affected. If its not a top choice and could effect more realistic choices, might be wise to withdraw the app. But again, I would look into it more.

As a follow up, does LSAC automatically notify all applicant schools that they have an updated transcript or should I contact them to let them know that LSAC has an updated transcript for me?

Do you know anything about the matching scholarship deal? I was looking through and there's not a ton of data. I'm still waiting for some more acceptances/scholarships so I can send them B's way to match...if they will at all.

Look at ASW. All the info you need is there.

I did, it just seems so ambiguous and vague, like "well we COULD match your scholarship or we could not, but we can't tell you what our decision is based on or why we do it or what is going on or if we'll even notify you of our decision by the time ASW rolls around." Looking back at last year's thread people had to withdraw without ever hearing back, or withdrew from other schools and got no scholarships from B at all.

That's essentially what I know too. And I think I read somewhere/ heard from someone that it really is not a sure thing at all, so I guess it doesn't hurt to try but don't get your hopes up. Also, I'm not sure when they let people know if and by how much they are "matching" because they say how they try to help students get the highest possible money deal by different means, such as need based financial aid, scholarships, etc. But I'm not sure if one is contingent upon the other, so they can try to give someone with less money some more, or if it's based on how much they want you (because they have limited resources). Sorry, I realize that's probably even more confusing but that's exactly how I feel

Quick Question:
I have a 159 LSAT & 3.99 GPA. I understand I don't have ideal numbers for Berkeley, but I understand Berkeley to be more concerned with GPA than other top schools are and slightly less concerned with LSAT. With very liberal softs/essays/LORs that cater to Berkeley folk and applications down this year, the question is; do I have a shot? Is it worth the application fee? Already in at Miami & W&M with $$$. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

Honestly I think you have a shot. LSP says you'd be a "consider" from Berkeley. I think you should apply, but not necessarily expect anything from it. You could always retake and apply again next year if you don't get in. However, if you are URM then you have a VERY high chance of getting in during this cycle. Congrats on the nice GPA!

Unfortunately I'm white bread (Thanks Mom and Dad...) But I'll take a shot, even if I get zero pesos of scholarship I can still use it as a bargaining chip with other schools. Plus I could brag how I got into a t-14 and in the end, isn't that what it's all about??

I think you might still have a decent shot but Berkeley is known for not being too kind to splitters such as yourself.

The lowest traditional, non-URM LSAT score admitted last cycle (2011-2012) according to LSN was a
164, but that person submitted before Thanksgiving and underwent faculty review in order to get there. The lowest traditional, non-URM LSAT score to have been admitted this cycle (2012-2013) according to LSN is a
165, but that user is "diverse" because they are Asian. I hate to play the devil's advocate here, but with a 159 I think that your chances of getting into Berkeley are almost non-extant even with a 3.99 GPA (unless you are a non-traditional applicant, an underrepresented minority, or have
unbelievable softs). I am not saying that you shouldn't spend the $100 to apply, but I am saying that you will probably not get in.
Given what he has posted here I am doubtful that his application will be so masterfully crafted that it will entice the adcoms to look past his LSAT score. Not only that, but it sounds like he has no interest in attending. Waste of money, don't bother applying.

LSP is generally worthless; it's completely useless for splitters (traditional and reverse). As a non-URM, he/she has essentially zero chance of admission with a 159:

I'm saying that I am GOING to get in. I won't be so bold to predict any scholarship money, but I'm a 1%er so it doesn't really matter.

1%er that isn't able able to get above 159, and worrying about $100 fee in an attempt to waste a space at Berkeley. I guess we all should be rooting for you.
